A dinosaur who has the personality of a cardboard cutout! lets get peopke with youthful energy and are relevant not washed up has beens who have been fired from their last gig. MELBOURNE has won the race to secure the services of former Adelaide coach Neil Craig.

The Dees are poised to announce Craig has signed on to a post as head of the club's football department.

He will act as a mentor to new coach Mark Neeld.

Melbourne beat several teams wooing the sacked Crows coach, headed by Carlton and Brisbane.

Craig split with Adelaide this year after seven and a half seasons with the Crows.

The Demons seem to have been very decisive of late. This is a good win for them.

I wonder if there is more to the Stephen Icke fiasco than meets the eye? Maybe he got wind that Carlton were offering his job to Craig and he didn't take it well? So now they have nada, neither Icke nor the man with the two first names. One can only hope that these things come to pass over those who deserve them!

Maybe we activated plan B (Ross Smtih) after it became clear that Plan A (Craig) was not interested.

Always felt that we were only after Craig because he was available, didn't feel planned at all. This might be a good race to lose.
