It's obvious that Craig's going to Scumwood. No way MnM will be permitted to hover around behind Nafans right shoulder. Half of Scumwoods rollcall of superstar assistants have bolted as far away from Nafan as they can get. So now McEddie will virtually be knickerwetting over how lonely and exposed Nafan will be without his elite support crew.
No way McEddie will allow Nafan to be terrorized by all the hardened experienced bogymen coaches and media nasties so McEddie will throw everything he's got at Craig to help protect Nafans arse.
Wrong Scum. Its Carlton who are after Craig.

YEah, possibly.

I'm not sure that throwing money at Craig will get the job done though. Most of the offers will be in a similar ball-park, he will end up selecting the job that he wants.

Why not Brisbane? Crazy Vossy, say no more.

WC? That would be a good place to go except that Worsfold, Sumich and Burns will all be senior to him. Unlikely to appeal.

Melbourne? Maybe but the Connolly-Lyon push would be a bit of a worry. There are enough chiefs there to undermine the new coach already. He is not needed.

Carlton? Despite his two year extension, Ratten will need to make top 4 next year or the Blues will ditch him, contract or no contract. A couple of early losses and the media dogs will attack. Does Craig really want to be on the other end of that? He doesn't strike me as a political animal. However, if he wants to be a senior coach again, this would be the smartest move.

RIchmond? The serial under-achiever. The club that dug a massive hole for itself decades ago and can't get out, no matter what it tries. The club with iffy coaching, iffy recruiting, iffy management, iffy everything.

Only one of these clubs offers the opportunity to become an immortal, a much-loved figure in the hearts and minds of long-deprived ferals. The rest are just jobs.

I wonder which one that would be?

I reckon Rocket Eade will end up at Scumwood.

Craig is a professional - he will go where he feels that he can contribute in a professional enviroment to achieve success - no question he will choose Carlton - if he chooses Richmond it will mean Benny has turned the club around in two years. be interesting what he decides to do - certainly the most sought after person in football at the moment.

Scumbags, this is why there should be a cap on footy dept spending.

Why? Let them pay what they want. Wouldn't give more then 100k.
If you want a football brain at the club, go for the best and get Leigh Matthews!
Neil Graig isn't coming to RFC. Big deal. For me he was one of the worst coaches I've seen.
The final against Collingwood 28 pts at half time and all momentum and what does he do? Stack the backline, he lost me in that game.

Richmond be smart if you want the best chase the best. Matthews!

Matthews wouldn't be a gun fitness guy. We are offering a completely different role to the other clubs. I agree, we shouldn't be targeting him for the job the other clubs are offering. Good luck to them.

If you want a fitness guy, go and see what that butterbean at Collingwood is feeding Swan!
5 years ago Swan couldn't run out games and now he is like Dorimus..

Just another ill-gotten gain for the good old $cum to throw their cash at.

The rich corrupt get richer, the poor get the picture....

Not that I want Craig - one-dimensional, anti-youth has-been, so go for the gold Scumbaggers. :thumbsup

Essendon will be using their big chequebook soon to bail em out lol.

Fat rich bastards.

Carlton/Essendon made from the same toilet roll.
Cheats by chequebook.
Premierships by cash.

And everyone looks the other way.

One smashed TV if I see Barrett announce Craig going to the Blues on The Footy Show tonight.

Barrett will get his kicks by telling everyone(who already know anyway)about Carlton's interest in Craig.

The rat will be smiling like he got trapped in the cheese section of the supermarket.

the presser have no idea where he will end up...
so lets just make stuff up...

hope he has his bags for the trip O/S with the boys

Think we have got our man. :clap

Would be great news after the Daniel Jackson news I got today.

Pray, tell, Bobby

Just got a call from someone who is following this closely. Apparently deal done. He has chosen us. This comes from a media mate of mine. I am 99% sure as he has given me spot on news before.

Apparently Caro said she thinks Craig is coming to us and article in tomorrow's paper. Was on 5AA.
