Expect him at a club that hasn't been mentioned :p
Have it on good authority that the Labour Club is looking at Craig to takeover this job.

Geez he takes a while to make his mind up. I would have hated to see a selection meeting at the Crows.

Perhaps he is not as in demand as his friends in the media would have you believe? Perhaps he hasn't actually been offered a job anywhere yet? Maybe all these interviews he has supposedly had have not gone well?

Given the media's recent track record, difficult to believe anything they come up with re Neil Craig and others.

Guessing is my guess!

There is a story in the age that C.Connoly has been moved from the Footy Dept. into some other admin role. This opens the door big time for N.Craig to take over his role which I think he will, if the stories are to be believed and we offered him a deal 3 weeks back, it makes sense that he doesnt want it otherwise he wouldve accepted it by now.

Nothing lost, nothing gained

Josh Mahoney took Connolly's job i believe.

I have full confidence that Benny would have made a very resonable offer to Craig that reflects our needs first and if that means Craig chooses to go elsewhere so be it.

HERE, HERE.....

We offer him a position that we need filled, not a position the he wants just to get him on board.

NEIL Craig's list of suitors is getting longer.

Carlton - having decided to keep coach Brett Ratten - is preparing to outbid every AFL rival on signing Craig as a "senior assistant" or "coaching director".

The Blues are ready to beat Brisbane and Victorian rivals Melbourne and Richmond to hire Craig, whose future has been subject to much conjecture in the past month.

First chased by the Lions, Craig then was said to be on the verge of signing a three-year deal to support Richmond coach Damien Hardwick.

Then at the weekend he emerged as Melbourne's choice to support the Demons' novice coach Mark Neeld.

Craig refuses to make any public comment on his future until he chooses a club.

There are just two certainties now with Craig's role in football next season - it will not be at the Crows, where he remains on staff, nor at Port Adelaide, which is prepared to talk to Craig but is not having its calls answered.

Craig as an assssistant or coaching director at Carlscum? They can have him if thats the role hes after.
Craig has been shown at the Crows to have favorites and IMO not upto the role as football director.
Hed be good as an elite fitness advisor thats it.

well what I would do is tell Craig not to sign until he has spoken with us - then when he calls and tells us what the deal with Carlton is I would up the price to make Carlton pay massive overs for him.

Just another ill-gotten gain for the good old $cum to throw their cash at.

The rich corrupt get richer, the poor get the picture....

Not that I want Craig - one-dimensional, anti-youth has-been, so go for the gold Scumbaggers. :thumbsup

The BIG question I have is was Craig offered the best job for his skills at the club or was he offered the most politically correct position at the club, so as not to upset Craig Cameron?

It's obvious that Craig's going to Scumwood. No way MnM will be permitted to hover around behind Nafans right shoulder. Half of Scumwoods rollcall of superstar assistants have bolted as far away from Nafan as they can get. So now McEddie will virtually be knickerwetting over how lonely and exposed Nafan will be without his elite support crew.
No way McEddie will allow Nafan to be terrorized by all the hardened experienced bogymen coaches and media nasties so McEddie will throw everything he's got at Craig to help protect Nafans arse.
