Agree Barnzy.

Eade would have been perfect for them ILO. Can develop talent but can also rule with the iron fist they need. Lyon doesnt didnt rate him at all for some reason.

Strange though I'm positive they could have got Eade, he wanted to stay in Melbourne.
 
Wonder if Neil Craig has thrown his hat into the ring for Melbourne and Bulldogs and everyone is waiting until that has sorted itself out.

I reckon he's the best option available, but who knows, maybe he rejected them. Not looking good for the Dees.

Lyon made it pretty obvious he wasn't a fan of Eade. I'm glad Garry was in charge of this. A smarter bloke would have got Eade. Eade still has a lot to offer but Garry couldn't see it. Watch Lyon backtrack if it doesn't work out.....will absolve himself of all responsibility just like he did with Bailey.....

and to think he will have carte blanche on a new
dept specifically set up for this job description

Dunno.

Maybe Alan Richardson. Has a good reputation for developing young kids. Although not sure on his contract status but apparently one of the best. Wouldn't be in the same role as Craig would've been though.
