NBA 2011

Watched the second half of the Lakers/Pacers game where LA got rolled by 2 points....comical last 90 seconds by LA.
Kobe played with a bad flu...almost didn't play, he scored more than half his teams points....but had 10 turnovers.

With a minute to go the Pacers up by one...Howard gets fouled missed BOTH free throws,
then Pacers hit another 2 points...Kobe then pulls up for a clutch 3 pointer....game tied,
Pacers miss... LA rebound Artest World Peace fouled and he misses BOTH free throws!
Time out...then George Hill scores a lay up with 0.1 of a second left :hihi

Lakers shot 31.6% from the field....that is embarrassing,
If you take Kobe's and Gasol's free throw shooting out the game the Lakers shot 6 from 24 at 25%....laughable.

If I gave a stuff I'd feel bad for the Lakers. :cutelaugh

Massive coup for the Melbourne Tigers signing Johnny Flynn....6th pick in the 09' draft....he was just about my favorite college baller outside of Blake Griffin.
He's too good for the NBL though.

His shooting has been pretty bad and he isn't much of a playmaker. There's good reason why the three teams he played with in the NBA didn't want to keep him.

He has been a little disappointing...his shooting % has been poor I agree,
but it takes time to adapt to a new team where the rules are different too.
He's only played 3 games.

I disagree that he is isn't a playmaker...he needs to take better care of the ball though.
He's 2nd in the league for average assists, he's to selfish at times I think he should shoot more.
He's 3rd for average points per game...so he hasn't been that bad, the Tigers are an ordinary team so that doesn't help.
The most disappointing thing is his turnovers....some of them are shockers! and leads the league in average turnovers,
also zero steals.

I agree at NBL level he is definitely a playmaker! He could never control his turnovers in the NBA so he just used to put up shot after shot hence the decent scoring average for the Wolves.

OKC spoil Harden's homecoming, blocking him 7 times and keeping him to 3/16 from the field.

Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green were rested against the Heat...Spurs could face sanctions.

I thought something funny was going on when the odds for Miami to win went from 1.45 to 1.07!

Spurs almost won it as well!

I couldnt work out why the Spurs were $11 on Betfair.

Makes sense now with Jackson and Leonard missing along with those 4.

About 25% into the season a few surprises in the standings than I expected.

Didn't think I'd see Brooklyn, NY and the Bucks that high.
NY still without Stoudamire and Melo is almost MVP favourite for mine,
you'd think Bulls will make ground later in the year when Rose comes back.
Good improvement from the Bobcats who had the worst winning percentage in NBA history last year....
last year they had 7-59....this season they already have 7 wins lol.

1. Miami 11-3
2. Brooklyn 10-4
3. New York 10-4
4. Milwaukee 7-6
5. Atlanta 9-4
6. Philadelphia 9-6
7. Boston 8-7
8. Charlotte 7-7

Thought the Lakers would be in the top 3 seeds,
bloody hell the Warriors 4th seed!!! :) :banana
The Wolves have been destroyed with injuries...Love only just back but still without Roy, Rubio and Budinger.

1. Memphis 11-2
2. San Antonio 13-4
3. Oklahoma City 12-4
4. Golden State 9-6
5. L.A. Clippers 9-6
6. Utah 9-7
7. Denver 8-8
8. L.A. Lakers 7-8

As the resident Wolves fan here, thought it was duty to also add that they have also had injuries to...
Pek (starting centre), Ridnour (backup gaurd but starting with Rubio out), Barea (starting guard) already.

Much harshness!

Forgot about Barea missing a few early games....Pek only missed 2 games though.
but according to the stats Ridnour has played every game and now AK47 has missed the last 2 games.
Roy was a risk...I'd be surprised if he plays again this season, and Budinger who would get 20-25 mins at least is gone for another 3 months still.
Rubio has been cleared for full practice so he should only be another week way.
The T-Wolves started the season really well considering....it's caught up with them a bit now though,
but I see the Wolves replacing the Jazz or Nugs for a top 8 seed later in the season.
It a lot to happen to one team.

Spurs got fined 250k for resting 4 starters...they play 20 games on the road in November pretty sure it was a message to the NBA.
Not far off what Adelaide got fined!
Wow, that is a crazy amount. Surely it should be a case of 'if you want to lose the points' it should be up to them...

Obviously not hey.
