Bulldogs might take him back. He's lazy for us because we're simply no good, but if he played for a finalist, he'd play better.

He's gone simple as that - he can't get to a contest now - saying he doesn't want to because he is "lazy" or a frontrunner or all the other crap some posters are going on with is just poor.

I'll agree with you on one point - we are no good at the moment.

If he's gone through injury, then what's holding him up in announcing retirement? He mentioned on SEN a few weeks back that he'd be fit enough to play next season after a complete pre-season.

he either retires or gets pushed. theres no future in keping him none at all,

Agree with this. Dont want to see any more than 2 over 30s on our list next year, and they're now taken, Cousins and Richo.

I have been saying he is finished for a while but you are right it is a sad end.

A talented footballer that was cut down in his prime.

He looked today like he knew he was finished and I hope he announces his retirement and leaves with a bit of dignity.

Brown's performances this year have been nothing short of disgraceful. He is not interested and doesn't try. He is a prima donna.

He may once have been a very good player who was cut down by injury. However, his lack of effort this year has left a stain on his legacy.

Agree with ya TF. You might lose some pace but you don't lose class. In good to great team he could be very valuable still. Counts Richmond out though ;)

His skills are still excellent but can't win any contested ball or in some cases get to the contest.
We're not a good enough teasm to get the ball to him on a silver platter which he needs now.

He's playing the way Knighter did in his last 2 years.
The efort's there but the game has gone by him.

Yep that renowned hard defender Heath Shaw rag dolled him today.

I will always remember the pure genius in 2005 but it's a long time ago now.

Shaw embarrassed Brown today. He should just call it quits now. Him playing another game is an exercise in the futile.

He looked terrible today which is a bit unfair because it almost impossible for a forward flanker with declineing athletic skills to play well today.

On a good team he still has something to offer. But we are not a good team and he should never wera the RFC jumper again.

Trade.

He's been given the chance to play for his spot next year and hasn't made the grade. He's been dealt a fair hand. I don't see that another pre-season will help at all. I would delist.
