Jesus.

Another charity contract. Has shown very little since coming back. The classic bloke to get a "Jake King" incentive based games played trigger point for 2015. But nah. We'll pay. If we miss a big free agent, it's contracts like this that are the reason.

sure he's lost pace compared to his best, bust still quicker and provides more run than many that get automatic selection. Hardwick is obviously not concerned about our lack of run and spread.

Problem is H he can never hit a target.

He cracked in early and gave us some run. Unfair criticism, not much more he could do.
He tackled, applied pressure and won the footy in the first half shame that all the forwards play behind their man, and lead with no intent.
Guess we can blame foley for that too.

one of our few who had a real crack. Was involved in most of our few eyecatching plays, made things happen when nothing was. Has been out of the side for a while, wouldn't be on big money. No big problems here. Chaplin on the other hand

Reckon he did ok. He went in and had a crack. Got in the packs and got some hard ball gets. He had a team and game high 8 tackles so that alone is something. Second highest pressure acts with 21 also. He does the 1% ers which is something simple that many in our team don't do.
Leave him in let him get his confidence back and assess him at seasons end. Either he proves he's good enough or trade away. But give him a decent go first.

Foley tired a bit in the last half but that's just match conditioning. He was pretty good in the 1st half and deserves more games.

Foley and Newman need to be told they can play one final game each before retiring - we need to play the likes of Arnott and other kids to see who else deserves a spot on the list for next season.

I remember being absolutely flabbergasted when we re-signed him. 3 YEARS! No wonder we supposedly have salary cap issues.

I have no inside info so I could be wrong, but I'd bet we got him cheap. Showed a bit when very few did, a fit and in form axel on the list is fine by me. Structurally list-wise he isn't the problem. Highly paid underperforming players are the problem.

Thought he was okay, others to go before he does. He at least had a crack and made things happen.

While i agree with that i also think he is part of the problem. We are happy with a bloke that once represented Victoria to just have a crack. Blokes like Foley should be dominating. If not, move them aside and get games into a youngster eg. Miles.

Can't hit a target to save himself. THIS IS THE PROBLEM.

A fit Foley stays on the list, for my mind, as a depth player.
Can't see him being part of the next premiership team (but, then again, maybe none of the current list will be around win the Tigers snare their next flag).

Can't understand any criticism after the Melbourne game. Watched the game again on TV and thought he was one of the few prepared to go in and under and win the hard footy.

The top clubs would've traded him when there were far less qns about his fitness. Pretty worthless now even if he does squeeze out 20 odd more games.

Agree. Still a little rusty maybe, but jeez.......still contributing a lot more than most.

Games is passed him. Is a liability from a structural perspective, can only play one position only and that's in the middle. Isn't a versatile type and will get slaughtered in the back/forward pocket positions. Contracted or not must be moved on. Another who will rot away until his contract is up.

His biggest issue since day one has been his kicking and in today's football if you miss targets it hurts the other way.
His miss kick to vickery on sateday, just proves how bad his kicking is. Vickery was lucky to be 20 metres away
It's all over.
Another Coughlan, so much up side destroyed by injuries

Had one very good passage of play on the weekend but he is clearly one that won't last beyond this year. I expect Foley, Newmen & King to be our retirements this year.

Great ball getter that should be in our side every week..... Contested ball winner.... Which is missing in this club...
