Nathan (Axel) Foley [MERGED]

Form has been a bit off but I still would have picked him ahead of Newie. Very stiff.
Agree, but someone had to make way for Newie. We couldn't (and shouldn't) deny Newie his chance to play in September, but I would have dropped Petterd.

a good sign when the likes of axel isn't getting a game ... feel sorry for him, but this is what it means to be a top 8 team.

Yep. Terribly tough call, but I'm glad the club was able to make it. Foley will likely get his chance if we make it past this week.

If his not getting a game today, why have they signed him for a further 3 years??
Trade..

very disappointed for nathan after all he's put in...i'd almost prefer to barrack for a crap team so i don't feel sorry for players missing finals :(

Very disappointed for Axel. He does all asked of him and his skills round the ruck are going to be missed. It was tough call to drop him but Dimma had to make the call for his own tactical reasons. I expect Axel to be back next week after we beat the Blues

there was bound to be a sad story..someone missing out.this is what happens when you have a team full of talent..he deserves a game, but so do the rest of them...

Feel sorry for Nathan but rather be struggling to find someone to drop over struggling to find someone to bring in

Predicted Foley as a possible out earlier this week. Whilst he is good at finding the ball, he gives it up far too much and I think with finals pressure it's a good decision.

Butchers the ball. Not unhappy with that decision.
Agree too slow aswell. Supporters seem to forget that he was on McClean when he carved us up in that 3rd qtr. I was watching Brock run away from him. Would have liked to have seen Stephenson play and Petterd dropped aswell.

Great news that Tuckys in. To be honest Foley should have been dropped weeks ago barely noticeable when plays these days and shocking efficiency.

Hasn't struck his best form so not totally surprising. Tuck and Foley really fighting for a similar role and Tuck has been better performed overall and a wicked sub.
