Just watched the clip on the RFC page... he is a loooooooooooooooong way off.

Only good news, early days, is he has no pain from his very light running so far... finger crossed he can make a late 2013 contribution

I'm pretty sure this morning on SEN they said that they're aiming for round 6.

Round 6 is probably a half game in the Coburg 2's. Loooooooooong way off. It's Conca time.

Indeed it is. Conca needs to take the step up and become the inside mid we need. Must happen.

Foley could be a huge impact player in the second half of the year. Never playing more than 70% of game time.

given our midfield at the moment, which is starting to come along Ok, we should let Foley take his time - there is no reason to rush at all.

He might find it difficult to break in.

Good luck to him. Really like him as a player when he's at his best. I have serious doubts about him being able to get back to that - but seriously, what the hell would I know.

Will be a great story if he can break back in and contribute. I hope they are going to let him have an actual pre-season before rushing him back in and perhaps risking him struggling later in the year.

The little Nugget was in pretty good touch last year before he went down; I see no reason he won't come back in good form again. A class player, has been for years. Just hope he gets a good run at it as he and we deserve it. If he gets and stays fit for a few years our midfield will take all before it.

I view Foley like I viewed Cogs in his later years. We need to plan the team and it's structure without him. If he comes back and manages to force his way back into the midfield, then it needs to be considered a bonus. If he doesn't then c'est la vie.

Massive bonus if we get him back firing come midseason, imho id be setting him for round 8 an a good month of footy at the Burgers before hand....Surley his not the difference between finals an not

I would be stoked if he plays 15 games at near his best. As others have put it he will be the cherry on top.

Agree to this but still shocked he was given a 3 year deal last year.

I can't imagine it was a big number of coins. Most likely heavily based on match payments but we gave him the security of a 3 year deal to give him time to get back to his best. A win win for both sides really.
