100% it isn't his ankle so relax.

Something else has been bothering his most of the year just needs time to get it right.....I don't expect to see him till the game back after the bye.
Could still play with the injury...but I suspect they want him right.

I hope you are right.

He will be a big loss Sat. Freo will want to create as many stoppages as they can, and Foley is one of our best at getting first use of the ball.

The rest will do him good. Very important player we will need firing at the business end

Huge loss both he and King now this really looms as a danger game

Sorely missed today. Very importasnt player for us. Probs our #2 mid.

He's our number 3 mid. Him not there though meant Maric got some midfield time and Jackson played midfield. We got smashed in clearances. He was a big loss no doubt and proves once again we have non existant midfield depth.

Missed big time today. Becomes our second best mid on days like today. Let's hope he is ready to go after the bye.

Re: Nathan Foley

Pretty sure Nathan comes out of contract this year. I haven't heard any talk of him re-signing yet but I hope we're on to it. I also hope his injury isn't in any way related to his achilles problem that has given him so much grief in the past. I'll be very happy to see him run out straight after the bye, if not this week, so we can rest assured this was only a short term injury.

Best wishes Nathan. Hope you're well and back out there soon. We miss you bigtime.

I believe that Nathan Foley is out of contract come the end of 2012. I believe that he is a vital cog in our midfield.Any news on re-signing him or contact negotiations?
Jon Ralph said a couple of weeks ago on radio that negotiations are nearing a conclusion, that he and the club both wanted him to stay and he expected Nathan to sign very soon. Haven't heard anything since.

agree especially with Lids getting tagged out of the game could have done with Axle through the midfield.
