Heh heh heh..... you still owe me those beers red.

But to be fair, Redford does get it right more times than not.

Yep. I keep asking you when we're gonna catch up so I can honour the committment, but you keep making excuses !

They asked Johnathan Brown after the game who suprised you the most and he said Foley was a standout. The kids is 22!!

I had Carlton supporters today at work stop me and say, "You know who I didnt realise was that good?...Nathan Foley".

Yep had the same calls from mates who support opposition clubs who were watching the game.

Amazing to think he came off the rookie list. 8)

And many claimed he wouldn't make it.

Thats why I love him so much, he bloody works his guts out to train and better himself above and beyond the norm.

He is the perfect example to the rest of the young squad.

How many players on our list have come off the rookie list?

It is an interesting point, because some years ago when Melbourne, and I think North Melbourne, were struggling financially they weren’t able to recruit any rookies. At the time I didn’t think ,uch of it, but now I realise just how important that is!

we actually had the same problem Abe, we couldn't afford to fill our rookie list, as a loyal Tiger I'm surprised you don't remember because we had a fund raising drive amongst fans to pay for an extra rookie spot.

that was your setup turbo-ho? that's the best you can do? At least we raised our funds honestly instead of our bombastic President talking his spiv mates into raiding taxpayers funds that should be spent on schools and hospitals into funding a footballing vanity project.

We all know we went down the financial gurgler in the Casey years but give some credit to the current board and administration. We're making profits, paying the debt off, have record membership, employing more football staff, filling the rookie list etc. It's a massive turnaround As for fundraising to fill the rookie list I'm really proud of the large role PRE played in making it such a success.

just got back from 2 weeks overseas and missed the st kilda game and the all stars game. i'm very excited to hear that axel played a good game. mind you, i'm still more than happy if he kept flying under the radar as well. should be a good test for the boy against ling this week.

i`m hoping ling will get lids again, that`s who ling has asked to play on for the last couple of times we have played geelong.
he beat him comfortably both times but that`s no shame because ling had everyone`s measure last year.
but lids is in great form and i`d love him to get revenge on ling,i think lids can towel him up.

but seeing the publicity foley`s got this week he will probably ask for foley.

Gerald Healy on 3aw suggested rumours are going around that Nathan has OP. Hope this isnt true.
