Foley was a disgrace tonight as he has been all year. He should be traded next year for a player who actually gives a toss about playing!!

why do u think he doesnt give a toss???

Bump this thread for the little guy.

After the Saints game it is clear he still has the smarts and can win the ball in close, he just needs to get game time under his belt and more miles in the legs. Mainly handballing it out to the runners right now.

But in the 2nd half was one of my highlights of the night. It was when he got caught holding the ball after he ran around in circles like a chunkier Robin Nahas. That was because before he got caught he actually sprinted clear of a first tackler and for the first time we saw a glimpse of that acceleration that made him so valuable. I sat up and went "woohoo... the little man may still have his wheels after all."

I'm really excited to hear if he pulls up OK and if so can't wait to see him next week against a slower Hawthorn midfield. I'm feeling pretty confident that after a few games as he gets back his feel, confidence and timing we may just see a couple of those break away runs and then we can really start getting excited again.

is still easing back into it, i too saw that glimpse of acceleration. can only get better with more game time.

Still looks to be adjusting to what he can and cannot do with his pace at AFL level. We'll start seeing his best soon.

He has been doing that for a long time and usually turns over the ball.

2nd hals of the season I reckon we'll see close to the Foley of old.

Keep getting minutes into him and hopefully his body stays healthy as that will be beneficial for us in the future.

This year in my opinion is a work in progress for him. Not focussed on what he actually does as long as he keeps playing and keeps healthy. Very hard to come back at anywhere near the same level after two years away from the game.

9 games straight for Axle will see him play his century up at the Gabba.
If he misses one game and plays the week after brisbane, he'll play his 100th infront of a home crowd at the g against the dees.

did his part. if he doesn't go on his bursting runs, you don't notice him much - he's always at the bottom of a pack scrambling for the ball and dishing it off.

I think he would be great value for us if we out him up for trade.
might get us a ruckman or defender???

No, wouldn't get the quality we need via a trade for anything less than a first round pick as well.

Harsh. He has been out for effectively 2 years and this is reound 4. He is an AFL elite mid fielder. I would give him to the end of next year to pass judgement. We cannot give away elite, without a solid examination, we don't have much.
