Nankervis !!

Putting how good he is or how good he might be aside, he is the anti-Ty. Straight ahead, loves contact, aggressive, never hangs back that I've seen (which isn't much). Like it.

Yeah, I was thinking 'Snakey Nankers' after watching his clips.

But Anti-TV is better. Maybe even "the revolution will not be televised", for long.

I think he'll be a more than servicable cult figure.

Barlow is a must.

But we must have his replacement picked in this years draft.

Sandover medalist Jye Bolton would be a good option.

I reckon Nankers will kick arse. He reminds me of a combination of Maric and Troy Simmonds

Better than sideshow bob in the ruck and more consistent in the forward line

What makes people say Nankervis is a good forward?

2016 Season
1 Senior emergency.
2 NEAFL Rucked well against Lions tall duo and was dangerous when pushing forward. - -
8 NEAFL Dominant in attack with six goals from 18 touches, 10 marks. -
9 NEAFL Bye. -
10 NEAFL Moved around well and showed good nous as a ruck/forward. 10 hit-outs too. -
11 NEAFL Kicked three goals playing mostly forward then did some ruckwork – 14 hit-outs. -
12 Senior emergency.

16 NEAFL Got the better of ruck duel with Dowdell and pressed forward for two goals. -
17 NEAFL Impressive in the ruck (39 hit-outs) and impacted the scoreboard with 3.0. -

Shows some signs as a forward at NEAFL level.

I could show good signs at NEAFL level :hihi

This guy will assist greatly Hammer and Griffiths.

Alot of people have knock Hammer, he actually did well this year. Hit outs and marks were at the high end. Our quality of mids were found out especially in the middle. WE WERE SMASHED.

I believe having this combination will benefit in many ways:
1. We have 3 ruck options in a game. There is always situations where the opposition ruckman can be the better of one player. Having 3 reduces the odds.
2. They have different styles and can actually ruck. Whereas Tyrone would always look to where the opposition ruckman was coming from. Didn't produce the goods in this position.
3. We don't lose out in the forward area. Nankervis/Hampson replaces him and will be hard to match. Hampson is tall, long whereas Nankervis is very strong body against body.

Great get Richmond

I remember when people on here were saying Hampson was going to be an option up forward in tandem with Maric...
You mean Dimma?
