Nankervis !!

Nankervis might not be Simon madden but his grunt work around the ground and when helps down back is unbelievable.
He is super fit too.
And manages to sneak forward on occasion as well!

Additionally this not having a second ruck issue is becoming laughable. Why is it such a big issue? We just won the premiership and are sitting a game and % on top of the ladder right now playing with one ruck. The club has openly said time and time again that in today’s game they don’t value the hit outs and clearances as some might. We value the extra runner playing. Grundy and Gawn are both great players - but reality is even with their dominance when we have played them, we have still flogged both of their sides Last year and this year.

Maybe there is something in that.

Bang on. Would love to see the splits of when Nank goes to the bench.

Reckon he plays 95% of the last quarter. There is a definite time based plan around this.

We should rest the big man this week and give Soldo a game, Nank gives 100% every game and gets smashed into all game

Would be good to give him a week off to get freshened up for the Finals

You get the feeling the person tasked with telling N as ncy he's going to be rested will want danger money.

Anyone notice how pathetically salty Brian Taylor is about the big Nank after the famous fresh air incident?

Have no doubt Nank could rest forward and be a 20 goal a season player if we can ad a forward who can pinch hit ruck, which would make us an even better side

All I know is that a ruckman has to be on the priority list at seasons end.
I would trade, 2nd rounder, even steal for one.

a blair hartley moneyball special required here... hampson if fit served that purpose....gone now
so until CCJ develops... and he willl lads.... we need maybe pinching a 2nd ruck from a bottom 4 team

I’d like us to go after Preuss , only problem with having him, Nank an Towner on the list there’d be a stack of broken ribs and shoulders at training, yep he’d know he’d still be second choice to start with, however I reckon Mr Balme could convince him the opportunities would come, though just a battler a Zac Smith type maybe a cheap handy back up to have on the list as there’s no way will be able to afford a B grade ruck let alone an A grader.

Nankervis obviously baring injuries has a long career ahead of him, CCJ looks very promising, however his probably 2 years away at least from really impacting at the top level, also think the SA clubs will come at him soon and that will ad coin to his contract, not sure Soldo is up to it, however his probably the opposite to Nankervis where his ruck work will be more competitive against the huge rucks but offer a lot less around the ground , I think his just a back ups back up for another year.

I’d like to rookie some big doofus

Cranky Nank BT was calling him.
He’s got the right to say ‘no’ to roaming Brian.
But BT is a sook, so reverts to name calling.

Actually don't mind that. Nank plays with a fair dollop of small man syndrome, same as Ivvy did for us. Neither of them in the tall category for ruck men but both play with a ripping dose of the physical aggressive footballer.

Taylor is like most of the Ch.7 commentary team - PAST HIS USE BY DATE!
With all the mistakes his starting to make with names etc, I think old age has seriously caught up with him

Cheers for that, i think the writer HB Meyers might be a reader of Dyer Tribe.
