Nankervis !!

And some wanted him rested for Soldo. Nanks is under rated. The last quarter was unbelievable. 14 contested possies for the game. 9 intercepts. Just brilliant last two weeks playing against 2 of the most mobile ruckmen around.

While Grundy was off pretending to be a neat skills small Nank was dominating the bigman game.

Nancy got some high praise from Bucks to the point saying Brodes will learn from that.

Reckon that’s the best game I’ve seen him play. May not be the most athletic or even talented ruck in the competition but geez he’s got a massive heart on him. Gives you everything and lifts his teammates really. Such a great pick up and exactly the type of player we needed. And to get him so cheaply was a huge bonus.

Went with a Pie mate... Said basically the above pre match when discussing how he would go up v Grundy.
Except the bit about it being his best game ... Didn't have the crystal ball.

Was brilliant. His decision making with the ball in hand is very good. He has a very high footy IQ.

His dropping back and taking marks in the last quarter reminded me of the CEO doing that against the pies friday night game many years ago .

Monster game. Had been a bit below par first few games but even below par you know he will compete.

Grundy shaded him early (just) but in the last half Nank ripped him a new one and was instrumental in the centre clearances in the last that saw us break the Pies. BOG for mine as the most influential big man on the park. I think Nank now knows he can dominate games. Look again at his last half against Gawn last week and it was similar.

Grundy might have won the hit outs, but Nakas destroyed him around the ground
They carried on about Martins game against port, but i bet nakas wont make any news this week.
