Nankervis !!

If we had another Nankervis we actually wouldnt need another foward, He is actually very good in the foward line and if he doesnt mark it nobody does and the ball comes to ground.

Not a full time foward but would be an excellent 2nd tall we need

Might not have finished top 10 in the B & f , but he is easily in our top 10 most important players
Top 4, as evidenced by who was on the bench in the last few minutes of our two lead-up finals: Chimp, Dusty, Rance and Nank.

Nancy, Prestia and to a lesser extent Caddy. Blair’s GF win.

Beavis, on one of the post GF shows said that late last year when the season was still going, the club *knew* Prestia and Nancy were coming. Caddy wasn’t definite but in their sights.

Shows just how much work is done on trades before trade week.

I'm of the same opinion here guys.

Without him I doubt we could have won it.

Lost the h/o but his work around the ground, he became an extra midfielder.

Staggered he didn't poll in the top 10. Really surprised by that.

1500 odd people at the J.D Medal night ( me included ) and not one single person in the room picked the top 5 in the room. Prize money to jackpot next year.

Nank probably benefitted most from the 2 byes.

Had more gas in the GF than Pre finals.

Huge workload that he managed ......luckily.

Not sure that is accurate. Nankervis was dropped for the Prelim and Grandfinal and has on many occasions stated that he only left for more opportunity. I heard it was a very last minute deal and played out only in the last days of draft week. Can't see him leaving if he played the G.F

OK, then Dimma was being creative. I think it was On The Couch where he said it, I'll try to find the clip

Staggering really. Given we were able to win well without Jack, I would have had him at least 7th in the JDM. And Grigg (6th) couldn't have held down first ruck!

And in the club's 'every player rated from the GF' report, I think the big Nank got a 4.

What the...?

I read that today.

4?

He was instrumental in us getting on top and running away with the game.

Took contested marks dropping back in the hole and last line.

I would have said 6 was more like it even a 7.

The rating was from an AFL nuffie not RFC.

The club should put a disclaimer at the top of the article then mate!

Wonder if Ben even watched it or just went by stats?

I saw that too. Wtf and *smile* was my reply.

Right on!

Wasn't it out of 5?

Dusty only got a 9, so may well have been!

Nank wiped the floor with Jacobs in the second half, who ever it was that rated his game as a four wouldn't know a football if one hit them in the head.
