He was in the square eazy e. He was the only one positioned correctly. Martin and Grigg were on the wrong side.

Take a deep breath, and perhaps have a bucket handy:

I know that a lot of positives get lost in the manner we lost, but I love this bloke.

Beaten for most of the day and then lifted magnificently in the last.

He won a quarter-high five hitouts-to-advantage as well as two clearances and launched a quarter-high four scores.

Also up till the Neale clearance and Mundy goal, tigers had 11 more clearances in the quarter and scored 28 points from those clearances.

We are all gob smacked and things could and should have been done differently but sometimes $hit happens.

I thought Martin Riewoldt and Rioli were also terrific in the last and Caddy lifted as well.

Great post, Robert.

Your man lifted. He's only 23 but he lifts those around him too. Leader in the making.

I thought he lifted after a poor 1st quarter.

on those clearance stats, looks like the match committee got the selection of our mids right. we won the clearances despite Sandis ruck work.

They"Ve never got it wrong have they? Must be the umpires or the fans or the feng shui or climate change or or.....anything but the coach, the selection committee, the recruiters or the board. They never get it wrong.

Was 4 goals to 1 from stoppages to 3/4 time to setup Freo's lead.

We did dominate clearances in the last however.

I reckon Sandi sat on dusty's back. Dont think it should have been paid in the context, but I reckon its a free in some other contexts.

Cotch seemed to be walking?

Richo on talking Tigers thinks this is where the game will be won and lost and Rance on Cameron. Go Nankers !

Should be a beauty.
Time for Nank to become the alpha male!!!!
Soldo is big too. Hopefully they both bang into the Mummy all day.

Not much mentioned about the big fella last night, however I thought he played well, busts his guts each week, going to be a weapon when we get a quality firmware who rucks with him. Taking Mummy's scalp at 22 is a bloody good effort

He was slapping Mumford around for quite a while but the old boy fought back.

It's ok that Nank is carrying the ruck pretty much alone for now because it gives him exposure. We need to grow him. And he is growing.

I think this guy is probably already our sixth most important player. He's a godsend.

Yeh. Needed a chop out in the last. Not sure how much time Soldo played in the middle in the last but didn't notice him at all.

We need to find some ruck relief before we burn him out, I would try to get Bellchambers at years end to help him out

gee he played well didnt he.
maybe mumford was carrying a little thing, but nank outworked him with good link up and a number of receives.
Plus importantly mummy wasnt a big scary dinosaur barging through the packs.
This year commentators have loved cheering their lug of a thug, but on the weekend our Nank worked him over.
apart from the nasty hit on Jack.

good signs from our Nank

Stood up in the last Kicked a long goal were lucky to have him
If only we had someone who can stand up and give him a breather during games

Toby 16th best player in the league on AFL player ratings for first 10 rounds.

Significantly Martin at 3 Cotchin at 8 and Rancey at 24 (should be no 1 in my book)

The Hampson is our No 1 posts when we got Toby make for some funny reading.
