Nankervis !!

So much for all those people over the pre season saying our injury rate wasn’t anything to worry about, we’ll be fine when the season gets going etc etc.
Nankervis is no Ruckman , he just batters other ruckmen.
Behind the 8 ball he folks .
Soldo takes rucking duties all year going forward.

If I am not wrong Dimma was questioned about Nank in his Thursday presser last week regarding his fitness. So obviously he has been managing this for a period of time.

Yeah was thinking the same thing. It’s nothing like a soft tissue injury. Unless like I said in my previous post we tried to manage it but it didn’t work.

It's like trying to manage someone not to have a car crash. There is literally nothing the off field team can do to avoid this injury.

It's not a management thing, there's no chance he didn't do it on Saturday. Couldn't play with it.

That’s a bit disingenuous re Lynch because as you would know, having a plantar fascia release de-stabilises the foot to some degree.

I had to consider it myself on both feet, and after talking to AFL Doctors and surgeons, decided against it for that fact.

Sure it's not related to soft tissue such as sprains?

It's an ankle sprain. You need some sort of extreme rotation to cause it, like falling with your foot planted and putting your weight through the joint or an impact like someone sliding into your leg while the foot is stuck. There's no possibility of it without a traumatic event.

I was talking Nankervis there. Lynch could certainly be a stress related issue and a byproduct of the surgery but I believe they identified it happening in a specific incident so my tip is someone landed on his foot and fractured it.
