Melbourne

Agree, TF. I don't see them beating West Coast, but next year they are a real threat. The new zones will help them because centre clearances will become more important. They have the dominant ruck, powerful inside midfield and with two strong marking key forwards and even numbers ahead of the ball, they will go bang-bang-bang more than occasionally.

They need better, faster small forwards and outside mids, and their defence has a few weak spots, but they loom large.

*smile* Melbourne !!!! Nothing but Melbourne on SEN ,think l will throw up !!!

If we don't make the GF and they do I would be happy for Melbourne to win the flag KT. Their supporters have been through a lot as well

If that's the case, there's no other option but Scumwood to win it, so yeah, give it to Egobourne. Let's not forget how 'gifted' this team is by the AFL.

Funny thing is, if that happens, then it's a 100% certainty the Saints will win the flag in 2019......if you noticed the trend...

What I have noticed with Melbourne supporters , they have developed this theory that they are the only team capable of beating us ,

A few have politely told me this ,

Interesting that they are getting that confident

Unfortunately, their 2nds just made the GF and now they're gonna be labelled as good as us (ie. depth).

Big difference on how we achieved to get to a flag and how they did (if they win it).....we don't know what a silver platter means.

They will wilt against us. Don’t worry. Don’t expect them to get past WCE next week anyway.

Bookmark it Melbourne will beat wc easily far superior midfield and then we will beat them comfortably

Yer, I think Weagles will be 5 goals or more better than last time they played with Darling and Kennedy playing. Darling especially dangerous - yet to strike form he had as dominant forward in the game first half of the season. He starts timing his leaps right and holding the clunks he is capable of, game over.

Huh ? I’m not giving anything to anyone, I am talking about fans.

You'd have to think Melbourne's midfield will be too good for West Coast.....but backline and forward lines West Coast are stronger....plus they have a huge home ground advantage and will, as usual, get a free ride from the umps. Be very very surprised if Melbourne can knock them off over there.

Melbourne are *smile*. Softest run in the finals, Geelong and hawthorn and still at times looked shaky.
West coast will slap them.

Media still having their love affair with Melbourne and Collingwood
Roos and FigJam
No much mention about Tigers or Eagles
Hoping that results go our way
Tigers smash the pies and Eagles do a number on the Dees
Would love to see what the media thinks then
The 2 best teams of the year and media pays them no attention

Kennedy and Darling are the keys Melbourne don't have the size to stop them, especially when they are using Tom McDonald as their spearhead.

If the Demons mids don't get back to help the two key Eagles forwards may just hurt them even with less opportunities.

Jordan Lewis and Hibberd are going to need to play well and assist their Key backs.

A big game from Lycett against Gawn wont just get his side one foot in a Grand Final but it will boost his market value in the ensuing weeks.

A bruising encounter this one will be on a hard fast track.
