Going by the media The Dees won the Flag on Friday night
That’s all they talk about how good Melbourne was
Too bad for the other teams that won on the weekend
Minimal mention about the Richmond game
Hope the Hawks pump the dees ....still plenty of time for their supporters to catch some decent snow time in

Were just so lucky we've only had to play them once this year. They are head and shoulders above everyone.

Tigers = Lucky
Deeez = unstoppable
All others = gallant

Gallant, the new brave.

Two sides with a measurable dislike for each other. Basically good blokes v wankers. Would be an interesting GF. Cmon Hawks.

i thought the Dees V Cats was one of the worst quarters of footy I'd ever seen...

It was the worst game for skill level of all games. I'm not convinced about Melbourne. Hawks game will tell us a bit more.

The hype around the dees is sickening, can’t remember us or the dogs ( who they keep comparing them to ) getting this sort of attention,

Gee i hope the hawks put them back in their place

The media coverage of us last year from prelim onwards was saturation. Herald sun ran out of yellow ink. Underdog sells so they go with it. Most neutrals were for us last year and will be for the dees this year.

The Hawks pressure rating in the first quarter against us was 217!

I'd like to see how the Dees handle it. The Cats applied zero pressure in the first quarter last week.

What were our pressure ratings for the game Wayne?

The other thing that sh!ts me, Roos getting all the accolades and him lapping them all up.

Yeah it's rubbish. They have had so many early picks and so much AFL assistance. If they can't have a modicum of success with all the assistance they've had they should just pack the joint up.

Hawks will sort them.

Geez I hope so - because I have long feared that Melb could be a real threat this year and the very thought gives me the heebie jeebies.

Or Collingwood? The thought of either the Dees or the Pies winning the flag is more scary than I would like to ponder for very long.

Am I the only person that actually watched every game???

The Dees were made to look good by a woefully inept, slow and lazy Geelong. The skills in that game were embarrassing. Neither team looked like they should even be in the finals.
Ditto GWS. The Swans were pathetic and never even gave a yelp.

Hawks had a decent crack but were shown to be a class below the Tigers.
Collingwood and West Coast played a cracking, high skill, high intensity game and both teams deserve to be in the finals. I still think they won't beat us though.

Pressure acts in Melbourne game were much lower than Tigers game. But the most damning was forward half tackles, Melbourne had something like 25, Geelong 6. Melbourne were made to look good by an inept pressure team. Geelong were shown out last year by pressure too, they just can't handle it or apply it themselves.
