Matty is extremely happy for our recent successes
He was very upset last week with the passing of Tucky . Was very close to him
Reckon the old man has only smiled once in 3 years - and that was after our 2018 Prelim

Definitely had issues with Lids (called him a pumpkin), hated Dusty. Don”t remember him saying much about Cotch, but all sorts of things came out when rimau had a few.
Can’t remember him hating Dusty but he said his son had no time for Lids. Said there was a clique or a division at the club between the stars and the workhorses. Had some very interesting insights into the club. I agreed with him more often than not. I didn’t want Whitey to go to Port but he was offered a much better deal there than Richmond was prepared to give him.
Yeah he didn't like Lids ( esp lids ) and Dusty . Never heard anything negative about Cotch
