Daw will more than pay his way as a rookie in terms of marketing even if he's a flop.

Thought I'd revive this one considering his game on the weekend and his goal in particular. If you haven't seen it have a gander on youtube. What an athlete! Those who doubted his ability to put on size would be surprised by his considerable bulk up in such a short period of time on a list.
Reckon Evo, Scoop, Phantom etc were on the money about taking a punt on this bloke. Still learning the game but some massive upside and the new sub-rule suits his type. Would love him in the tigers colours.

A very impressive bit of vision, doubt there would be many footballers who would of got near him, more outstanding was the finish
I watched that game, and while he does the spectacular at the moment his only position is ruckman (he had 46 hitouts) as he couldn't read the ball when playing forward, and lost his man when playing back. However he has just about the most potential in a bloke I've ever seen. If he can be taught some nous he would be a very tough match up.
Love to see him succeed, however I think he may have found his level. I remember watching vision of he and Goldstein practising their ruckwork. Goldstein was absolutely smashing him in the hit outs. Remember he is only 195cm tall with an OK, but not amazing leap.
If he could learn a lot more about the game, and fast, he could perhaps end up in the second ruck/forward position.

I really hope he makes it, anyone who has spend any time in a Sudanese community event knows they are a huge untapped resource for our game- they are a highly disproportionate number of tall athletic people in the Sudanese community.
Be great for AFL, great for the Sudanese and good for Melbourne in general if Majak could be a role model to draw others into the game.
