Lynch !!

Has had the ball kicked to him like garbage and everytime hs been outnumbered.

Has been burnt 2 or 3 times when in space one by Nank when he kicked the point and Rioli are the first two that come to mind.

I don’t reckon it’s Lynch’s fault.

For 2017, they had to lose Vickery, then Griffiths, and even Todd Elton before stumbling upon our unpredictable, small, chaotic forward formula. Defenders struggle to plan for it. Now? The old school tall forward vision the coaches always wanted is being realised.

I never want to see a 3v1 again unless it’s deliberate and we have planned to position smalls at his feet. Ever.

This is a failure in coaching philosophy, not a slight on Lynch

Is being tripled-teamed on many occasions and the general delivery he has had to deal with has been pretty ordinary.
That said, I haven't liked his lack of endeavour tonight. I know it's not the case, but he seems to be disinterested.

Right now Lynch was getting better delivery at the suns compared to what the tiger are giving him.

I reckon it’s more the competition-wide trend now for every team to have such a well-drilled, team-wide defence. and they spend all year planning it.

With dynamic Jack, Caddy, George and Townsend, we used to be difficult for opposition defenders to plan for as a group. Lynch hasn’t even had a preseason of learning to jam with the small symphony, and it doesn’t look like the coaches are too urgent about deviating from that traditional tall setup of yesteryear that Lynch enables.

If lynch was at Geelong or Collingwood he would be on 25+ goals. Our chaotic game plan is horrible for his lead up at the ball game.

Jack won the Coleman last year.

Tonight’s delivery is not the same as the last couple of years, we’ve gone all traditional.

Jack and Lynch’s game styles are completely different. Riewoldt is a master with no space. Lynch needs space.

And you get space by winning clean fast footy hence Naughton looked like Dunstall tonight.

Agree, the time they had with no pressure made it easy for Naughton, our slow ball movement made it impossible for Lynch.

We were poor across the field tonight

You're underselling Naughton. He absolutely dated us.

Shocking delivery with our forward line a shambles.

Not Tom’s fault.

you cant blame him. imagine Prestia or McIntosh kicking it to you. it would either bounce 43 times or it would hit the clouds

Pulled the wrong rein unfortunately for him. No key forward can get a kick with that game plan
