Lynch !!

I just wanna know WTF this Andrew Woods has in his mind when assessing these cases. Do the colours yellow and black give him chromophobia?

The AFL site is slower then the blokes that run the stinking joint.
Richmond should challenge it and take it further if he is found guilty
The Footscary player caused this not lynch.
He came from the front of the contest.

This should be a very quick dropping of the charges. If they take too long to deliberate, it'll be because they're on a conference call with Gil, the Scott brothers, Whately and Karen Kornes debating how big a penalty they can get away with.
They rang TBR first.
He wanted a life ban.

I'm not even getting into the Dangerfield one, anyone who thinks that was something are talking through their bias and therefore impossible to reason with.

There's no issue with your description of the Lynch play, the problem is he has gone off the ground and hit him high which has concussed him. If he had gone low and got him hip to hip then there's no issue. A bit like Broad previously, no problem with his intent or laying a tackle in that situation, but he has stuffed it up. It's execution.
the problem with the description that above is that it skips mentioning Lynch has jumped off the ground to contest a mark. The ball is in the vicinity. His opponent Jones (?) is marking at his highest leap.
Lynch could have stayed on the ground but wouldnt not have been contesting the ball.
Thats not execution issue, he has to be allowed to jump to mark the ball.
Thats the inherent problem. For Lynch to avoid the collision its to avoid playing footy.

Exactly what MOST of us have been saying.

Surely a player is entitled to protect himself from possible injury. Keath was the one who was reckless, charging into a contest he had absolutely no chance of winning.
Dangerflop was allowed to protect himself. No consequences at all.
