Lynch !!

Its telling that the people that were going hardest for him on BF were Cats fans. They actually believe the *smile* they come out with.

Lynch didn't have the time to decide to bump or not, the down the ground vision showed Keath almost touching Lynch, as Lynchs eyes were still on the footy and a he planted his left foot to jump.

No doubt he got a sight in his peripheral vision, had no idea what it was and the instinct is to protect yourself. He would have had literally half a second or less for his brain to have processed and proceded to the action.

The way some supporters are making out, was that he was lining him up, and choose to go for him as he realised he had run under the ball. Still images allow people to paint a picture of something that is physically impossible to do.

Can’t stress how relieved I am.
This would have been a watershed moment for the game and most likely for me had it not been thrown out.
This was pure principle, regardless of his injury.
Now for an apology

Tom Lynch is free to play (but won't due to injury). The Tribunal is not satisfied this constitutes rough conduct.

"He did not bump and he did not engage in rough conduct."

The AFL are pretty bad at this tribunal stuff though.

Its their own tribunal, but the proportion that they lose is pretty high. You must really suck to lose in your own kangaroo court so often.

What I'd like to know is how does Michael Cristian still have a job? He has ample time to go over footage and make his judgements based on set criteria and still can't get it right. If i F'd up at work so badly and so often I'd be sacked.

It's great that the moral world is in perfect order.

Surprised but very happy the Lynchman got off. Reckon he needs to take his defence counsel out for dinner while he's rehabbing.
