Lynch !!

Coaches will do whatever to give their side the best chance for a win, Horse did it and Rutten/Caracella did it tonight. Kept them in the game with a slim chance of stealing it. That's their job.

The AFL has done a fantastic job of giving us a season with COVID19 and states going in and out of quarantine. You can flog them for a lot of stuff but not that.

Agree that game standard has been terrible mostly.

All they achieved was keeping the game going so the cash kept coming. All the rule changes they made to do that, the poor officiating, the poor poor use of their control of the media to bully clubs & players who defy their every demand if control has lef to to it being, without a doubt, the poorest quality of content in decades. They are now involved in a poltical bidding shitshow which almost feels like an auction for the lions, eagles & power to buy a flag.

When the game goes on at the cost of the quality & intergrity of the product - thats not a good result in my eyes

From a potential to cause injury it is worse than Witherden.

But why is Superstar Charlie not the subject of a media hatchet job like Tom was last week?
The media definitely have agendas. Every journo has a team and few of them barrack for Richmond. Ralph does, but he's a self-loathing apologetic idiot.

Tom Morris has backed Port Adelaide for the flag. It colours everything he says about them. He was falling over himself excusing Dixon. Whateley not only barracks for Geelong, he has regular pow-wows with Chris Scott (and Hocking) and thinks he's part of the brains trust. McGuire, no need to restate how biased he is.

Being a pissant is practically a prerequisite for being an AFL journo. They are ants. God, they've got me nostalgic for Rohan Connolly.

Tom pushed Witherdens head into the ground with a tiny bit of force, Good old Charlie did it with an elbow/forearm and a great deal of force, but that's just "Charlie"

What a crock of stuff
Witherdens head didn’t even hit the ground

Yep. A forearm push to the upper chest. Is everyone in the media completely *smile*????

It’s out of control. A push in the chest at worst. I just don’t like football anymore. I’m a bee’s *smile* away from giving it up.

Feel free to stop watching, it seems you get little pleasure from it.

I'm just glad I've got something to distract me from the current hell that is our world right now.

I said to my wife tonight, I am sick of TV footy. I need real life footy - see the whole ground, fresh air, no commentators, a beer and a kick. Local footy, VFL anything just no more TV

The media is trying to convince itself lynch deserves a week.
The more you watch it, the more you can see it a push to the chest that goes up to neck. With barely any force.

It seems that the media were just waiting for Lynch to do something to justify last weeks witch hunt, and this is the best they can come up with

Don’t fall for this tripe UK
They know they can’t stop him if he gets a run at it so he gets checked and grabbed constantly. Sicily was the worst I saw last year. Cannot see it on the TV - commentators certainly aren’t looking for it

There is natural agression in the game but Lynch seems to be pushing those boundaries too often

Your been watching too much premier league.
Lynch has done bugger all.
Collins barely went down. Aarts caused him to hit the ground.
And what do you want him to do tonight? Hurley is swinging hay makers to his injured hand.
Its a flken witch hunt.
And blokes like you are falling for it.
If lynch gets a week for that. The AFL can go and screw itself.
What did Ablett cop last year, Fyfe the 17 times he has used his forearm. Hillbilly Dixon?
Its a media witch hunt.

Umpires need to pay more frees. Why the F is Hurley engaging Lynch with his back to the footy? Defenders are regularly using these *smile* tactics. Let the forwards play that's what most pay their money to see. Stamp this *smile* out.

A hundred meters off the ball.
Opposition facing the wrong way
?
Antagonising taxi basher duck.
Cameras on the tiger, never highlighting the crap a forward cops.
Umpires giving multiple, multiple warnings. Make a decision gypos.
No free.
No protection.
Just deal with it.
Reaction from the bigger, stronger, more talented player.
Highlight him as thuggery.
The AFL is looking to punish the RFC.
