Just watched it. Whilst I generally wouldn’t have too much issue with it, if you compare it with what Lynch did it’s significantly worse with much more scope to cause injury. But the way the commentators reacted is chalk and cheese. “Charlie’s having a bit of fun” says Huddo. The rest of them are just laughing about it. Last week they wanted Lynch nailed to the cross.

If after listening to that, people don’t think there is some sort of agenda in the media against Richmond they are dead set not listening. Just unbelievable hypocrisy.

What is it with Charlie Dixon? He is a mediocre footballer who’s had nothing more than a mediocre career. Seriously, what the *smile* has he done?? The *smile* commentators talk about him like he’s a cross between Lockett and Carey :rolleyes:

Stuff me, talk about double standards.

TBR, now tell us about how we're being a bit paranoid.

Geez If Tom had done that he'd be walking the plank.

Yeah waiting for TBR and antman to remind us how biased we are. Apparently the media just report it as they see it with no agenda.

I don't think the Big Richo or me said they report it with no agenda. I haven't seen the Dixon incident but yeah, we are biased, we are Richmond supporters.

Anyway see if you can have a look at the Superstar Dixon incident and the ensuing commentary and tell me the difference between that and what Lynch endured last week isn't chalk and cheese.

welll...well well...every single politiclly correct,up in arms,complete over the top critic of lyjch will look like a hypocritcal idit if they do not go hell for leather about what charlie dixon did today...where are ya mitch..swartz..mark robinson etc.......

Tom pushed Witherdens head into the ground with a tiny bit of force, Good old Charlie did it with an elbow/forearm and a great deal of force, but that's just "Charlie"

Has been pretty poor in front of the sticks this year had kicked 19 goals 15 prior to tonight.

Fair few soda's also amongst those that he's missed.
