Lynch !!

Have they cited Charlie Dixon for the multiple assaults on Brisbane players?

Im guessing you mean the Hawks.

Charlie got a video with wording that was much more flattering. no "MRO" and rewarded with the phrase "Crunching"

The leagus has become a shitshow. the AFL has not handled the COVID situation well at all - the games quality is at an all-time low and they seem more interested in bullying us than trying to fix the ugly spectacle the sport has turned into as teams try and figure out a way to defeat us.

Tonight should have been a showcase for attacking footy & flair. Instead, the bombers flooded, turned the game into a mess & our blokes just tried to ram a brick wall a thousand times with a bicycle to knock it down. I think the league is trying to do everything it can with *smile* drama to distract from the fact the game has become almost unwatchable. When a team is targeted, week in/week out with a flood like we are getting - the AFL needs to move in and start paying free kicks that deter turning the game into this sort of mess. Where is the pressure on Woosha for his tactics? This should have been a bloody showcase moment. I feel ripped off.

Joke

I mean, honestly - what the hell is going on with the game?

Hawks didnt get a free kick after half time and had 16 free kicks in a row paid against them. How is that even possible, for a team to play the most contact heavy sport in the world and not give a free kick away in a half. It all just stinks to be honest.

I haven't seen it closely on TV but it certainly wasn't the off the ball/dead ball sort of scenario I was talking about.

He will probably cop a sanction for the elbow but from my quick look I thought it was mostly caused by the Hawthorn player falling under him?

Regardless, I don't think that's even close to comparable to the Lynch/Witherden act.
Hahaha!

have a closer look....

Coaches will do whatever to give their side the best chance for a win, Horse did it and Rutten/Caracella did it tonight. Kept them in the game with a slim chance of stealing it. That's their job.

The AFL has done a fantastic job of giving us a season with COVID19 and states going in and out of quarantine. You can flog them for a lot of stuff but not that.

Agree that game standard has been terrible mostly.

He definitely made a choice to push the Hawthorn players head into the ground with his elbow. More heat of the moment than Lynch/Witherden, but still nasty.

That is some serious gilding the lily. The ball was well gone and Superstar grabbed Stratton pushed him over and drove his elbow into his face and into the ground.

Seriously mate.

Bulls*** incident with Lynch. Apart from anything else I thought you weren't meant to hold a player, which is what Hurley was trying to do, when they are 50m from the ball. Who was the one grabbing at their opponent's jumper?

As the 8ball says, who was staging?

No wonder the big forwards have been having a difficult time this year, the AFL won't enforce the rules of the game.

Circus.
