Lynch !!

Needs to stop playing from behind all the time.

Looks much more dangerous when he's on the move and getting to the front.

Wonder if he is avoiding getting his hand punched in marking contest by playing behind his opponent.

Needs to do more.

Don't want to be critical of Tom because he'll always be a tiger legend for his efforts in the prelim last year but

it was disappointing seeing dixon flying and crashing packs and taking marks while Tom was playing from behind and struggling to get off the ground. Don't know if he has any injury concerns but his mobility and spring in his legs is just not there. He's doing well close to goal but we have no big man presence further up the field.

I reckon the main difference betweeen Dixon and Lynch was how they were used to bring small forwards into the game.

We did lack contested marking, true, but we’ve lacked contested marking, uncontested marking, contested possessions, and uncontested possessions for years now.

It’s true, but more a case of “so what?”

Port‘s main way to score seemed to be from smalls running riot after pack spillages I50.

The threat of a contested mark helped them create space for smalls, because 50% of our backline would jump into the air to try and stop the contested mark.

That “unpredictable” spill to a running ground player is where it’s at. Especially around the body.

We could use Tom’s aerial threat to better create space for running smalls I reckon.

We’ll kick more goals doing this than by trying and trying and trying to kick goals from contested pack marks.

I reckon Tom is not being helped by Jack's indifferent form (despite 7 goals in last 2 games). Jack has tended to migrate to the goal square and therefore causing a pack of players and making it really difficult for Tom to be one out (where he is best suited). Last year Jack spent quite a bit of time up the ground but this year he seems to be lacking pace and effort. Was almost hoping Jack got a week for the silly low punch vs Port Adel and give Lynch a chance with a small forward line around him. Luckily for Jack didn't happen.

Nothing to see. Just a fine.

Next minute AFL makes him a scapegoat and suspends him.

We just know it’s going to happen.

Hopefully they send Tom straight to the tribunal,

and they see it was actually Performing who got Collins

talk about a 1-2 punch

how's how Tom gives a little tummy rub, and its 'Lynch GONE'

and a bloke canons into Jack front on, no eyes on ball, and leaves him on the ground bleeding from every hole in his head, except his ear

and its 'oh so brave, running back with the flight'

I reckon there is nothing surer than he'll get a week. And then we should engage Tom Hawkins defence team

I do love an aggressive key forward.
The type that wins premierships but every other team's supporters hate but is secretly jealous that they don't have him.

So many on social media having a go at Tom, quite annoyed at it really. Some B grade celebs, journos and especially oppo supporters - like their own *smile* don't stink.

Lyon this morning on his campaign. Watson 50/50.
Lyon also harping on Dusty s three punches ( last jumper punch ) and hasn’t been suspended.
Calling the AFL basically weak and he will only cop a fine. Not serious to stamping out punches to the body behind play.
Always got an agenda Lyon against Richmond so expect the other Richmond hater Geelong lover Gerard to go with it this morning.

Will be listening...
