Lynch !!

Now there is talk that Aarts was the one not Lynch??

Gee.

Lynch stating it was an open hand and both Garry & Watson saying you can do damage with an open hand.
No. Really?
Not to the body. Face/Head yeah. Palm can cause serious damage. I know , but to the body and go down like a ton of bricks???

If Lynch did strike him with a punch. Stupid. Dumb. Open hand -deserves a fine.
If it was Aarts? I don’t know.

how's how Tom gives a little tummy rub, and its 'Lynch GONE'

and a bloke canons into Jack front on, no eyes on ball, and leaves him on the ground bleeding from every hole in his head, except his ear

and its 'oh so brave, running back with the flight'
Just another example of the morons siting up in the commentary box.

Whatever the result he needs to cut out this sort of stuff cause it will cost him a big game or final because of something like this eventually. There are ways to be aggressive & play on the edge , but this ain't one of them.

The guy ran after Lynch then collapse like a bag of *smile* when he knew he couldn't get to the contest.
He should be fined for faking it .

Collins got two hits, the first from Lynch didn't floor him but it was the second one in the same spot from Aarts that got him down on his haunches.

I do love an aggressive key forward.
The type that wins premierships but every other team's supporters hate but is secretly jealous that they don't have him.

and one whose slightly smarter than Tom Hawkins.

Agree 100%
If it continues to only cost him fines that he’s willing to pay - well OK
But if it starts to cost us frees against incl reversed free kicks and 50m penalties - or suspensions - then the price is too high and he needs to tone it down

We had a beauty in the 70’s that did exactly that. One Neil Balme :clap1:cupgold

His antics becoming tiresome. Give him a week. Aggression should be directed in play. Too much school ground kids stuff in his game off the ball!

Don’t agree. Key defenders use niggling tactics against key forwards all the time. Sometimes they need a reminder and to look over their shoulder.

Spot on, didn't Lockett tell the backman blocking the space to clear out or else.

So do we know how Lynch came to get a bloodied nose?

What really needs to talked about is why Lynch only has 8 free kicks for the season (15 against) despite the massive attention he gets from opposition defenders every week.

We cannot buy a free kick i50 at the moment yet there seems to be several goals being scored as a result of soft frees at the opposite end of the ground.

Our forwards are being checked, blocked, arms chopped, tunneled etc but the umps refuse to blow the whistle. This is not imagined, it's real.

No wonder they are getting frustrated.

It’s funny how Collins is being praised for his determination and not flinching etc but have those praised him seen the vision of how after Lynch gives him the tummy tap he runs after Lynch then when he sees he’s not going to make the contest he just falls over in “pain”?

Yes it was a bit strange and talk about wind Lynch up.

I thought Collins antics were pretty ugly and not a good look but it was only Lynch who was criticised while Collins was praised for being competitive ffs.

Yep there was a fair chance that Collins was niggling Lynch all night as backmen have been doing for a hundred plus years. But as soon as he cops one in retaliation the media hatchet job goes into overdrive.

All is fair in love and war. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.
