Liam McBean

Remember hearing on SEN a while back when they were discussing VFL that Liam's Grandmother was a massive Tiger fan (and consequently all the rest of the family) with memorabilia all through the house - apparently T-shirt Tommy used to drop in after training to have a cup of tea back in the day.

Sadly, she has passed away, but they mentioned that she would have been over the moon to have someone from the family playing for the Tigers.

The hype will be feverish over the summer - I'm sure someone will petition that he play Full Forward Round 1 ;D

Sounds good as long as he doesn't shirk his big man responsibilities like Watts.
LTRTR on this one do not sweat! He is a leader this kid, from a football school and from a good footballclub in the EDFL. He was Daniher's skipper at school level and only reason Daniher is now looking more developed is his father son concession the Cheats Mk II got to allow him to train with them last year. He has the desire to compete and even this year he is not intimidated by physicality. He actually relishes the hurly burly from what I have seen and heard from his interviews.

I hope no one from the coaching staff have a 'brainwave' and think they can turn him into the next All Australian centre half back. Put simply - just let the kid play and specialise his craft as a forward.
Really looking forward to see how his career pans out.

I think today is the day that the tiger's unleash the beast on the unsuspecting public .I can see tomorrow's headlines .We were all privileged yesterday to see the greatest ever performance by an individual on the hallowed turf of the MCG .Liam McBean's victory in the half time sprint, was poetry in motion .

Not to put a dampener on your claims however St Bernards is no longer a football school. Most potential draftees move across to Essendon Keilor college as they have a program connected to Calder cannons and the AFL. Also Daniher hardly played at St Bernards in his final year, rumour is he hardly attended school at all. McBean has the pedigree just don't read too much into school program, unless he was part of the leadership group (ie School captain/sports captain)

How does McJesus get a look in now that the hamster will be turning a wheel in the forward pocket?

Dimma is a party pooper.
