Yep. Writing him off now that he gets some games and experience is ridiculous. The only real thing holding him back is weight.

What I posted is fact. This year goals vs the Bummers..... Ty= 3 & Liam=0. Fact.

Sick of people constantly hanging it on Ty, who is far from my favourite player, to pump up Liam. It's a pity they couldn't pump him up on his own performances rather than by pointing out others' deficiencies.

How long has McBean in the VFL for? How long has Scilly and Obrein been in the 2nds.

It's called criticism. If he underperforms after how many chances (100+games) then out he goes and give an up & comer a chance to show. I'm sure that after Vickery's 4th game, no-one on here was calling him a failure whereas Beano seems to cop so much *smile* in an instant.

He's a kid in his fourth game of AFL for God's sake. Everyone knows you don't expect players to become all Australian in their first week on the park. Fact

He's a key position player, who naturally take longer. Fact.

Vickery is in the prime of his AFL career and producing stuff all. The reason people single him out is his lack of intensity, effort and footy output are well under what's expected of someone so experienced. Vickery did OK last year and was trending the right way. This year as a free agent he's done nothing to warrant a contract extension.

Oh and only 65% game time too. Ty averages about 80-90% for less than that output.

Needs to play out the back more for the easy goals. Not AFL quality until he can do that!

While he didn't hit the score board gave us something when kicking down the line and was once again good when the ball hit the ground.
