Liam McBean

Don't blame him.

He can rightly blame selection hasn't been based on form nor effort when Vickery has been played ahead of him for 2 years.

Hawthorn next year.

Just to check if I've got this right or not,
Beanie kicked one goal and had an early goal assist in the ressies game.
Ty kicked one goal n had a goal assist in the seniors game.
Apart from the fact that Ty played at the higher and more difficult level, it seems to me that both players kinda stunk it up a bit.
Therefore where is the justification for dumping Ty n promoting Beanie? Perhaps both teams need to learn how to move the ball properly from defense, through midfield n deliver to the key forwards a hell of a lot better than they currently are. There's not many key forward players at Tigerland taking either comp by storm at the moment.

Did you see TV's "effort" today Taz?

Leysy sat with an old legendary PRE poster on the second level behind the goals for the first time and watches him closely.

It was the most half hearted performance leysy has ever seen in a Richmond jumper in 30 years.

The guy has totally checked out. We are only playing him in an attempt to keep his FA value up. Nothing else.

But do you know what playing a guy who everyone else knows doesn't deserve it (just ask Jack) does to a culture. Ask Melbourne around tanking.

It devalues the jumper. It doesn't hit the ground Dimmer says. *smile* it doesn't.

Old mate Dimmer needs to read the tea leaves on his oh so failed coaching career. At least go out with some dignity and drop blokes who deserve it.

If Vickery is picked ahead of Bean next week he can never ever look at the mirror again and say he gave coaching Richmond his best shot.

Fraud.

Rant over.

Mate, leysy can never decipher your posts.

Attach a space bar and Return key to your keyboard and we'll start debating.

yes I saw it & from a pretty good vantage point I may add :)

BTW did you see Tys huge block on the GC defender in the 1st that enabled Grigga ?? an easy mark ?

Not saying he was great, but did a couple of things that go unnoticed

Now we are getting really silly. Vickery's run of poor form has opened the door for a tall who really wants it. McBean isn't taking that chance but now we are absolving him of his poor performances because of perceived injustices at the selection table.

C'mon Leysy, surely you are not advocating spitting the dummy and giving up! And if that is what McBean has done how can you possibly want a player of such poor character to be promoted to the senior side.

For his own sake I hope McBean is made of sterner stuff. I couldn't see Hawthorn wanting a quitter on their list.

Not my fault you can't comprehend English, Leysey. Perhaps you should try reading it again without gibbering first, it was a pretty simple n straight forward post.

Might need to get the head out of the sand mate.

Interesting to see if your as kind to Vickery when he's at another club next year.

Can we just play him?
He may just be a better player in the seniors with better players around him.

Beano...poor character? Vickery lives up to this.

Whether McJesus is he answer or not, the question this week has to be who replaces the dropped Plasma.

Do the seconds have a bye next week as well or is it possible to give Ty a run in the seconds next week?

Ty and McBean could go head to head with the least worst to play against Brisbane the following week.

Anyone. Playing anyone would be preferable than seeing Vickery prance around again with no consequences for his performance.

You seem smart CT, you can work it out.

It seems to me that you were trying to make the point that people have made too much of his 6 quarters of footy.

When the point I was trying to make is that it is ridiculous to say that at some point in 150 games of footy, Griff and Ty have shown something that Beanie in 6 quarters hasn't. I.e. that 6 quarters of footy is an absurdly small and insignificant sample size to be assessing AFL quality.

And as you seemed to be pointing out that you can't gauge much from 6 quarters too, you seem to be in agreement, which is in relative contradiction to your general tone on this thread.

Or, more likely, you were just taking sarcastically hyperbolic potshots in any random direction, which would be more in keeping with the norm.
