boxing is like ballet. a movement system that promotes phenomenal fitness and strength.

we should get a ballet teacher too. Griff would love it I reckon.

They have ET. Here's Steve Morris at training.

Obviously not playing tomorrow and as the reserves have a bye I can't imagine he,ll be picked after not playing (when he can't get picked after actually playing).

Love how the Bean supporters pull out any excuses.
;D

So he,ll have to put at least 2 very good games together with the reserves. That's rd. 13 by then....at best!

I reckon somewhere along the line he,ll get another chance with the ones, come off the bench and play 40% GT and get dropped the following week. Papers stamped.
It's absolutely laughable when guys like Chaplin are getting stints in our forward line and Menadue ( who i quite like) is getting game after game when he clearly is still a bit young, raw and panicky.

Beavis can be such a stubborn mofo.

It seems to me those who haven't seen Liam play this year are basing their hopes on goal tallies. Reading the weekly reports that isn't an issue with the powers to be. Liam must know what aspects of his game he needs to work on.

We are not basing our hopes on goal tallies.
We are expecting the match committee to make unbiased decisions.
If McBean needs to present at more contests and work on his defensive game, can someone please tell me why the heck doesn't Vickery have to. It's an absolute joke.

Vickery was appalling last week, just jogging around, I don't think I've ever seen the guy sprinting when the opposition has the ball.

I encourage ppl who go to games and watch Vickery closely when the ball is up the other end.
He has no desire

Here we are with no chance of finals and we don't give Beanie a go to see what he's got. Only at RFC.

Agreed!. I don't like saying this, but I almost hope the lethargic Vickery cops a couple of weeks tonight. Then maybe, just maybe, the Beanster might get a gig in the Dreamtime.

It would be the perfect time, place and opposition.

Yeah... I know. I'm the one who is dreaming. Dimma will play the same old Richmond shuffle game and swap the favourites around (like Charlie to the forward line) and leave Liam lamenting. As usual.

So many double standards at PRE, just play the *smile*ing kid!

No double standards from me, I think Vickery should be dropped, its just a shame McBean hasn't demanded selection at a time when a spot is there for the taking.

He just came off a 4 goal game when Vickery should've dropped last week lol

Hard to kick goals when there's a bye even for McJesus

What does he need to do to "demand a spot" Ian?

Last time I checked- Forwards are there to kick goals.

McBean kicks goals.

More than almost anyone at VFL level over the past couple of years.

And it's not like we're killing it offensively.

14th in Points For
12th in Disposals per Goal
10th in I50 per Goal

And it can't be his defensive work keeping him out- Vickery certainly doesn't chase and he's in the Seniors?

Don't think he took any contested marks this week. Needs to work on his game.

Dimmer is more likely to bring in Astbury and throw Chaplin forward.

or play maric/hampson forward

Hope not - for all their individual flaws, Chaplin - Rance - Vloss - Batchelor - Grimes - Morris -imply works. The spread well, they play (mostly) to their limitations and seems to reach each other well. We had the best defensive result in 40 years last year and I know we need a succession plan for a few, but if its not broken leave it alone.
