Kane McAuliffe

I'm hoping the club has been holding him back until Taranto & Hopper return to "protect" him, not that I think he needs it. Either way, I hope he plays the game out. Its a shame we haven't seen him play many full games prior to see if it would make any difference.

Kid’s a footballer. If anyone is going to lead the charge as we belatedly transition from the Hardwick-era “hack and hope” game plan, it’s him

I suspect the thinking is that he gets the minutes that Dow got in the midfield incl plenty of CBD

Yep - surely a “management” thing and hopefully he’ll take this game as a further managed step
He’s gonna be one to watch closely on Sunday and I’m looking forward to seeing him play four quarters

For someone who played substantial minutes in the centre, a return of just two kicks and seven handballs was disappointing

Well down on what one would expect but when our whole midfield including the highly experienced ones were nearly invisible, it is no surprise

He's played what 5 games, all as sub? And he's come up against Cripps, Walsh, Cerra. Not sure what you were expecting

Thought he was big, strong and classy.

Just not involved enough. Did he play limited minutes?

Keep playing full games it won't get any harder for him than that midfield the blues have

Least of our worries, will no doubt be able to take plenty out of todays game , probably wear out the VHS tapes of the game during the week

All part of the learning process for Kane today. Playing against Cripps and Walsh shows him where he could get to in his career.
