I really don't understand all the drama over this.
The majority of people who read my post know who I was referring when I said "Islams" and obviously you did too for you to 'correct' me.
However, you and Disco continue with the pedanticism.

This isn't a matter of spelling or grammar though Livers. As much as a pedant as I can be, I understand and respect the forum rules on those matters. You were using a misnomer and I was trying to understand why you persisted to do so even though you understood it as such?

Whether I call Muslims "Islams" really doesn't make one iota of difference on this forum because the majority of readers know exactly what I am talking about when I used this word and that to me is more important.
I'm not writing a technical report on the history of islam to be read out to the Government....I'm typing an opinion on an informal footy webpage and as such I word my posts more informally than I would compared to writing a business letter at work.
FFS...I call Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, 'the Chairman' all the time and you haven't corrected me once yet...
