Can't all be Martins or Cotchins, not a star, however playing consistent and reliable, better team with him in it.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

A little disappointing last night for mine.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He is PART of a team, we lost against GWS partly because he didn't play.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Ridden hard last time out, missed the start this time.

Time for a spell, (ala bye)

yeah, I quite like.

Integral part of our team now.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Role player and a very good one. Only has to play his role.

Me too, but stays in the side on credits for previous games. If he keeps blocking and tackling and gets a goal or two a game he's good value.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddy does the things good teams need players to do. The things most players on great teams do. Great example early last night, the play leading to Lambert's poster. North kicks to the wing, Rance with the big spoil. Cunnington and Caddy front and square as the ball spills our way. Cunnington has momentum in the direction of the ball, Caddy the other way, but he has position. A selfish player would have gone for the ball, got tackled and probably a ball-up. Caddy did the right thing and took Cunnington out of the play, legally (it's called a shepherd, look it up, other teams do them all the time), allowing Rabce to continue his momentum and gather.

Shepherds, knock-ons, little kicks off the ground to advantage. Caddy does this kind of thing a lot. It's good.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Thought he was good. My main gripe has been he's been well below what he was giving Geelong the last two years.

But in the last month he's getting to that level slowly.

I think part of that is he has playing a lot of the time as a quasi-centre half forward.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Wasn't his best Game but still managed 2 goals 4 behinds, some were gettable. Creating more opportunities for himself than others in our forward line. Also 19 pressure acts si is doing his bit. He adds balance to the forward line.

Are you thinking of last week TL? Didn't trouble the scorers this week.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

I think he gives us something a bit different , we have an abundance of pace now and josh adds a bit of a physical edge , seems to enjoy crunching bodies

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He's selfless. Plays for the teams advantage. Our new Jacko.

Just watching the replay now. He did a lot of good work in midfield last night as well.
