Made a few mistakes, but if you take them out thought he was very good.
That's generally how it works....

Well, what I was saying was his many positives greatly outweigh this few negatives. Sorry I had to go into more detail for you. Also given your grading of putrid was probably based on these few mistakes.

Definitely unsophisticated but he straight-lined the ball at some important times tonight.

he plays like a rhinoceros with a small giraffes legs

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

If Caddy continues to be regarded in the top 12 players at RFC then the Tigers will struggle to make serious inroads into the competition. Does some things, but his overall worth to the team seems speculative to me.

Yep, the stats say he 22 disposals @ 59% DE. 14 of his disposals were handballs and this is reflected by his 137 metres gained. How many of those handballs were to the detriment of the side I lost count.

Second worse behind Edwards. No speed, no power and today hand balled directly to the opposition with every chance he had

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Seems every disposal is had while being tackled

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Junktime Josh. Starts his performance towards the end of the game.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Hard nosed old school footballer... some just need to realise everyone's roll is different.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

The Shane Tuck/Dan Jackson type player we've been missing for a little while.

Plenty of grunt today as normal... solid game.
Honest question Jumping, were you at the game or watching on TV? I was watching on TV and I thought he was horrible, at the ground things do look different

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

The most overrated fat spud we've ever had.

I was watching it on TV... I thought he played his role well. His big body around the contest is an asset. He also had 4 or 5 basketball type interceptions. They didn't result in a stat or anything like that, but it usually caused a turnover our way or a least another stopage.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

he plays the odd average game and plenty of poor ones///today was rubbish....slow plodding..no idea at stoppages...how on earth does he get a game ahead of miles
