So can anyone clarify is he played mainly as a mid or a forward? Seemed mainly as a forward to me.

Who knows.

But, like a good catholic priest he always gets more touches than you thought.

Was good in the last. He is what is and we paid about the right price.

Paid overs. Townsend can provide what caddy is currently providing and we could have got a talented kid at pick 24.

Caddy is a better player than Townsend

Come on Harry. Townsend struggles to.provide what Caddy does at VFL level. He's been a non event at AFL level.

Laughable. Townsend can't get a kick in a street fight.

:rofltownsend. He is *smile*.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Well he's averaging a goal a game as our 2nd forward. That'll give around 22 goals for the season.

Not sure what happened to Dimmas comments that he wasn't giving Caddy enough time in the middle and that he would get more time there as promised when he was recruited.

All a bit strange really, recruit him as a mid but play him as a forward. He replaces Lloyd who kicked 35 last year. We lose Prestia but still don't play Josh as a mid.

Yep covers off 2 positions and adds flexibility but he's a downgrade on both Lloyd and Miles in their specialist positions.

Townsend shouldn't be on an AFL list, he's useless. Caddy played his role well yesterday, I have no issues with his game whatsoever in terms of what he's being asked to do.

Yeah but Townsend just Focuses on Football

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Last quarter was very important.

He was earlier in good position a few tunes ans was ignored or not seen after working hard to make position.

There are some good signs with his determination and intent. The curve is still upward I hope
Upward

agree, showed a lot of G&D, and got things done.

Watched the replay of the last Q and a half this morning, can't believe we had that Caddy goal disallowed, and missed 2 sodas in the last, and still took a freakish, last gasp 1 in a 100 shot for Freo to get home.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

there was one play deep in the last when Caddy mongrel scrubbed it to Jack, when Caddy seemed to be wadding along with 4 blokes hanging off him.

He looked like he was gaining momentum and was gonna score a try.

He must be a seriously strong bloke. Even Dusty surrenders with 3 hanging off him.

Great play Easy. I reckon Caddy doesn't use his strength enough. He just willed that out though.
