Clever player. Unfortunately he is the slowest in the AFL.

Would have been really suited to our game style last year. Now, he'd be better as a witches hat at half time in an Auskick match.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Considering he is a senior player he's shown little for me to get enthused about.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Played pretty well tonight.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Overated!

Menadue,Moore and even Garthwaite should be trialled ahead of this turtle.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

We should change our name from the Richmond Tigers
To the Richmond Tortoise's
We love drafting/recruiting midfilders that are slower then a 110 year old Galapagos Tortoise.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

I still don't understand the constant bagging this bloke gets. He's always good for 20 touches and a goal a game. Yes he lacks pace. So what? He's not running 100m at the Olympics. Had a great game tonight and when he finally got a crack in the middle applied great pressure to stop the Bulldogs waltzing it out as they had done for much of the night.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Pretty solid player, smart footballer, key is he plays his role, if his in your top 10 players your going to struggle if his bottom 6 you'll be ok

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Like Miles, think his best value is at stoppages where he can bash and crash. While he get's his goal a game they are usually the result of strength and kicking off the ground... Not a super reliable way to get goals.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Apparently all of our players have to vie for a place on the Jamaican relay team in order to be any good.

Now there are comments as to how he gets his goals. Really? Who gives a rats toss bag? Maybe they're not AFL standard goals. Dunno.

Agree - would just like to start seeing closing out games the same way he starts em

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Gets his goals? He's only kicked 5 from his 7 games playing predominantly as a forward cum mid.

Same as Barlow. :-X

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddy hasn't to date set on fire the football world ... maybe he's just played his role?
Nevertheless, I am hoping to see improved and greater output from him as the season progresses.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Will play inside mid this week in Mile's role.
Big opportunity against a big-bodied midfield to play a big game.
He had 3 x 25+ possie games last season and 5 the year before in limited full-time mid roles at Geelong.

Time to step-up Josh. 25 and 8 tackles is required and for once Mundy won't be towering over Cotch/Miles etc.
