Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddyhack. Pretty clear why he didn't get much midfield time at Geelong.

We tried him there week after week after week at the Cattery. Big body yes, does it enable him to break tackles?, no. Is he slow YES. Will he improve?, i suspect not. Would a second draft pick for the tiges have been better?, i will leave that for you guys to debate

Hey cat, if you wanna make a fortune then sell anything to this club. We'll buy it.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Thought Caddy played his role again today. Not exactly sure what the critics were otherwise expecting.

At least ya didnt have to "pay "for Taylor Hunt eh. We aint much better we took Aaron Black from the roos, and let go Vardy and Kersten. I'll swap Hardwick for C Scott, i think Scott has copied Hradwicks game plan :spin

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He did some very good things. Kicked two (morally three) and broke two tackles to get the ball to Jack for his last.

Was good in the last. He is what is and we paid about the right price.

He survives on moments and flexibility. Excels at nothing. Fits right in to the Tigers.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He needs to shed some bulk. Hopefully another pre-season with the man who got Cotch and Dusty lean and mean will do it.

Can he really improve speed and agility that much?
One thing he is generally a very good set shot.

He was quick as a kid, 2.9 or something for 20m.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Loved Eddie's line in the last quarter : "Caddy swings and misses the ball , that's why he's a Caddy".
Needs to be good when he gets the ball as he cannot chase anyone.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Must be the slowest player in the comp. A journeyman and nothing more.

this. certainly wasnt his fault. was like a skilful Andy Goodwin today.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

So can anyone clarify is he played mainly as a mid or a forward? Seemed mainly as a forward to me.
