Appears to be a pretty solid player and making us better, smart without much frills. Don't think there will be many kids with the number 22 on there backs though.

;D

No chance he's the best at that role in the comp.

Luke Dalhaus, Luke Parker, Toby Greene, Robbie Gray, Zach Merritt &, Dustin Martin all better mid/fwd than Rocky in 2017. Paying overs for a star passed his best who has question marks over his ability to put the team first would be a huge step backwards. We just got rid of a bloke who plays that role. If he wants to come for 500 and be part of something then maybe but no way I'm paying full quid for him.

Prefer to pay 500 for Zac Jones and bring him home.

Now we're talkin. We love chasing guys we should have drafted with our first pick as well. ;D

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Well you wouldn't call him "electric", Caddy.
More a "Manuel Labour" Caddy
Maybe that should be his nickname "Manuel" ;D

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He was interviewed after the game on 774. Don't know if there is a way of getting hold of it.

But he spoke really well, very confident and coherent given he'd just played a game of footy and sung the song. Offered some great insights into the club and his experience since coming across.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Apart from being a B-grader (at best) and a mercenary, the knock on this bloke from Geelong watchers was he didn't produce in big games.
That's another way of saying you don't have it to produce when the company gets elite.
Jury in for mine.
Wasted pick on a lazy battler.

Totally agree. Ordinary footballer. My Geelong mates reckon he was next to useless in finals.

Junk time Caddy they call him. Found out again against quality opposition.

My Geelong mates weren't happy to see him go. But what hope playing as a slower forward in our team tonight? None. Not sure why he's not playing more midfield. Probably just not good enough.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He was good in the first quarter but like the rest, he was unsighted for the next 2 quarters.

was a pinch hitter in geelongs midfield
He's our problem now.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Good first quarter, disappeared after that. Deserves some heat.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

So looking at it now it appears Caddy has replaced Lloyd. But as it stands there's been no real net benefit.

Marry that with Prestia seemingly replacing Miles for no real net benefit our 2 big name recruits haven't (at this stage) apparently given us a great benefit

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He'd have to be one of the slowest non KP players I've ever seen.

or one of the shortest KPFs in the modern era. he was effective in the first playing as the target inside 50, but like the rest of the team fell away after that.

Interesting point, maybe playing all 4 in the same team may see an overall improvement

So we recruited him as a KPF?

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

I thought he was recruited to strengthen our midfield? Aparantly not good enough to play in our all star midfield (which is why miles isnt getting a game), as according to hardwick we are just in adbundance of stars in the guts. And too short to play as a key forward. Not smart or nimble enough to play as a goalsneak crumbimg forward.

So what did we recruit a decoy for Jack? If so we may aswell kept vickery cos that worked so well for us.
