Josh Caddy

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Not a fan. Not sure what he brings to the team. Played full forward for alot of the game. I'd play Miles ahead of him.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

*smile* he is slow. It took him 3 hours to change direction at one stage.
Poor version of dusty. No wonder Geelong were ok letting him go

Surely you arent being serious, for example , have a look at the work he did to enable Jack to mark in the square

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Daniel Jackson without the tank but a bit more polish

Role player, worth his spot at the moment.

Agree. We lacked these players and now we have one and look Cotchin and Martin flourish. He is not going to be a star but he will play a role. It was his long kick to the goal square for Martin to pat the ball down re-gather and goal in the last minute. Simple little things. Much like Tuck did.

Only comparison is their size, otherwise totally different footballers.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Needs to loose some weight imo. Might be carrying a little too much. Still maintain he's not quick enough to play a decent amount of time through the midfield.

That's heresy! More polish that Jacko? Not possible.

Serious. There's a reason why he's being hidden in the forward line. Some bag miles for lack of pace however at least he can find the ball. Slow, poor kick, can't find it enough. rory hilton is a good comparison. They can't be serious about playing caddy ahead of miles

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

I thought he came to us a midfielder but he seems to be playing mostly forward?

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

He's not a midfielder. Actually I don't know whether he's a forward either. I thought we were going to get more than what we're seeing.

Miles to the coal face Caddy can play HF.

Should've paid more attention to Geelongs games.

Not a bust yet but I want to see more from him.

Coz he's slower than miles

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Fills in the gap between the Fab 5 and our host of B graders. Keeps out one of our mega spuds!

Good addition I reckon!

Spot on. Caddy is a hack. He's a Ryan Crowley type, eventually you come to realise he's just very average.

And reality is he is soft in the real contest, very selective when he attempts to contest.

Can't believe he is being played in front of miles.
