Thats 1 way of looking at it but another is that he will be easily a top 10 player at our club and is entering his prime at 24 years of age
considering players like hampson, hunt, maric, grigg etc are on around the $300-$350k area Caddy is a decent get

I hope it's a case of buying low, we haven't done that since Maric.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

I think over time, this will be looked at as one of the great bargains.

Getting a high first round pick, still improving, for a mid 2nd is good business.

And it fills a massive need.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Could become our next Dan Jackson - has that feel about it!

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Currently 3qtr time on fox Geelong vs hawthorn. (2015)
And caddy is invisible 11 possessions playing on the ball
Not expecting much from this bloke. Andrew underwood part 2

Was t too invisible when he kicked winning goal in qualifying gina, v Hawks ,,,,,lol , nice try troll

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

Caddy is exactly what we need (were missing), we have serious quality in Cotch, Dusty and Prestia, we don't run as deep as other teams mids but we still have enough, lets hope we have no injuries and our mids will be fine, for me 2017 will be determined by how the forwards can kick goals... Even in our recent 15-7 years we didnt kick enough goals, this is a key to improving as a side that can win finals

Hmm, yes maybe focus on one of his worst games of the year in 2015, that should sum up the abilities nicely. Never mind 2 weeks earlier against the same opposition he had 26 disposals and 15 contested possessions. I am expecting a lot from Caddy. Well documented his issue has been consistency. If he can address that part of the game he'll be a huge asset for the Tigers in the midfield.

Maybe consistency of opportunity will go some way to addressing that.

Another *smile* prick from Geelong. To match the guns in hunt and Bisscombe
Geelong let him go because he was shitter then Selwoods brother.
Another list clogger to sit alongside , Grigg, Townsend, Griffens, Morris, Elton, Maric, Houli, hunt, Ellis,
Lennon, Astbury, Hampson, Conca.
Wallace left behind a better list, just Add another 36 years to the wait

Hunt was delisted. Biddiscombe was a joke of a trade but that was almost 10 years ago now. Geelong wanted to keep Caddy and were not happy to lose him. That's the fact but feel free to twist it as you like.

It was 18 years ago.

Just to add to the spectrum of views about Caddy from Geelong supporters, I caught up with a long time Geelong supporter freind the other day...and he definitely rated Caddy and was annoyed the club let him go. Pretty much confirmed what most have probably thought...ie., he is probably not an A grader, but defitnitely a very solid contributor in the midfield, tough, super fit and a good team player.

Not an a grader yet, maybe. But definately a big step up in RFC colours for our midfield. Will start as our number 4 or three depending on Prestia. Gotta say i like what we got done for our midfield. Without deledio, this midfield group will function just fine.

Re: Welcome to Tigerland - Josh Caddy

The sort of player who may not be an A Grader but capable of putting in A/A+ games throughout a season.
