Same with with Grimes - and Conca for that matter. You can see that their confidence is up and their priority is not just to win a defensive situation.
And it was really good to see him back himself in a few times and engage in creative plays.GEDS1 said:

High praise. I'm amazed by how well he is doing so early in his career (and as Tencious says he has a few first year mates going as well or better). I wonder where this stops because he is getting more of the footy each week.

I never get nervous when he has the ball in hands, just know he will make the right choice.

Great game from Jake. Just when I thought he was starting to lose his way a little and might need a spell at Coburg.
Well done to him, fought for and will now retain his place in the side for a few games yet.

Reminds me of Tape and Rogers. Not much polish but fir real and a massive and precocious competitor. Will play 100+ games with below average improvement.
If he can tidy up he could be somebody special. Just a lad.

you can just see that this kid has got it. makes good decisions under pressure, a good kick, composed and is pretty big and strong for an 18 year old. Remember the calls when we picked him with our second pick - "who the *smile* is batchelor?"
