The only knock I have on him at the moment is that his foot was busted for 3 months. He needs the match fitness to start racking up 25 plus disposals a game.

If he can do that, he'll be our best Midfielder.

Quicker hands than most midfielders?
He averages less than 8 handballs a match. Could argue you need to be quick to see them. Just over 30% of his possessions are contested, so he may only have 3 or 4 instances every game where he is under pressure with those handballs. Not sure there is a huge body of evidence of quick hands.

I'm getting more excited with each post, it appears we will have a Shedda/Chimp clone in 2025. Hopefully you will bring up his goal kicking accuracy shortly.

Hmmm. Not so sure about that. I can still recall the look of horror on my 15 y.o. nephews face when he realised a male nurse was gunna shave him pre surgery. I'm pretty sure he was fairly traumatized by the event.

Nah, bugger that Antsy one. Watched the big burly bloke rock up with the shaving cream, brush n razor and request the poor kid to lower the P. Jays. He went pasty white n the eyes started flickering in all directions while he was fumbling with the tie up lace n I was near hysterical with laughter. Just warned him not to get over excited while being man handled so he wouldn't get knicked n had to bolt. Near on peed myself I was laughing so hard.

Agree, list clogger in my opinion. Will never be an AFL footballer. Marlion did more than him and he was only on for a quarter or so.

People are getting too harsh on Jack. Sure he has been below par these last two games but people tend to forget that he had a long injury layoff so form and match fitness doesn't come back overnight. Added to that our whole midfield failed to function again so he had plenty of company

This year 14.29% which is better than most of the Tigers this year. Not sure of the relevance of this though, many players contribute to a win or loss.

He's been potted by the same people all his career. When he plays well they just go quiet and hang out for the next time he has only an average to poor game.

He's contracted for the next 2 years so these supporters will just have to deal with it. He may improve further or he may get superceded but atm he's a far better proposition than the alternatives like Dow & Sonsie.

That may be true, but like Ross, Sonsie is yet to show that he has what it takes to forge a respectable career. They’re both better than Dow, but that’s a very low bar.
