What a game by Maric. His body is shot ? lol

Good work Ivy :clap

well if his body isn't shot he's had a very bad year. great game but I still think he's struggling over the season with injuries. not sure today proves otherwise.

I am really pleased he was a solid contributor today.
That said, I am concerned that his body is struggling at times.
Hope he's cherry-ripe if we make the finals, because we will need his formidable presence.

The big Croat was fantastic today and has been all year. Has a heart the size of Phar Lap's.

So true Draga. Works himself into the ground and gave the mids silver service. I reckon his biggest asset is his intimidating physical presence. Not many want to try and manhandle Richmond players any more.

We won yesterday on the back of a dominant ruck display by Ivan, 13 clearances before the Hawks got their first, that is a spanking. On the other hand Geelong lost their match to the Roos with a lame duck ruck display by West, the should have kept the big O, they may have had a chance.

Heard Luke Hodge today say that Maric's efforts against the Hawks showed what an important player he is for the Tigers.

I reckon Dimma might continue the experiment of the two ruck option and see how Orren goes again this week.
I mean, the Big O isn't going to be the ruckman of the future for the Tigers, but Maric does need a decent chop-out each match if he is going to have some sort of sustainable influence over matches.

Don't listen to Hodgey, he's a one eyed Tiger supporter.

Possibly. I thought it worked well. Big O is a better tap ruck than Maric or Vickery.

I don't think he is. Both Maric and Vickery have very good tap to advantage figures percentage-wise. I pay special attention to this when reading the Herald Sun stats every week. Admitedly didn't see them for this week.
