Ivan Maric

The tell tail sign is late on games when the (likely) jab wears off.

His gait is noticeably one-sided. Still not right.

He battled hard tonight against the best ruck duo in the comp. But he's not right, needs a long spell in the 2s. The way Vickery is coming on with his ruckwork I think we could afford to bring in Big O for a stretch of a month or so to get the Mullet right for the run home

This is the first time in a long, long time I've seen our midfielders kill the opposition by sharking the rucks. If they can be consistent, we could use Orro for more games.

In the long term, we need to trade for an up & comer ruckman for 2014 onwards.

Geez he's a worry.

Nic Nat and Cox combined for about 79 hitouts. I know they normally dominate the ruck but that is probably record breaking. Also giving lithe around the ground. It will be some effort to make finals if he continues to be close to a liability.

While he was little more than a step ladder last night in the ruck duels, he used his body well when the ball hit the ground to help our midfielders.

That was my impression too. I actually think he was ok last night, despite the awful hit out statistics. He ran interference well enough to stop the WCE dominating the clearances.

He is also still above average for a ruck when the ball hits the ground, although obviously not as good as Nic Nat.

Got off the ground last night for the first time in 2013... harsh, bust seriously had some leap in him last night. Even put in a few hard chases

Would give a whole week off to the big fella. Whilst its reassuring we can win contested ball without first use, he is a real key for the remaining half of the year.

Yep I reckon we should bring in Stephenson against the Crows and Dogs the following week. Would give Maric a nice little 3 week boost and neither of those ruck divisions are massively dominant ATM. Jacobs has gone backwards and Minson has been just okay. If our mids keep sharking like that it won't matter anyway

Best game for the year today for the big mullet, especially his second half. A couple of the big defensive marks we got so used to seeing last year.

I give him BOG! Consistently gave us first use in the middle, including doing it himself on occasions. Totally destroyed Jacobs.

A performance by our ruck at that level with our mid field, makes this a hot team
