Its time to open this thread. How bloody heroic is the big ivan? When you play footy and you have blokes you know are leaders, he is one. He lifts the team with his presence (sorry Angus Graham would never have that presence). Shame they lost today was a truly bright light. Better team with him in obviously.

They were at him in 3's and 4's in the first half - pushing and shoving him all the way back to the centre square. Worked too - he was knackered before the last quarter.

Goldstein shaded big Ivan in the ruck contests today, although Ivan won round the ground. I did wonder how fit Maric was.

Not training during the week but playing on gamedays sounds like he's got some problems there. Don't want to muck around with those groins. I would put him on ice now and not Riewoldt him. Finals are gone and giving Browne a 6 week block of games couldn't hurt. Won't happen though, we seem to like playing injury players into the ground.
