Had a few doubts about Eevan the terrible when we went after him. Happy to be proven totally wrong. The big fella's certainly be a ripping addition to our team.
For Sure!!!!!

Last nights game again show cased his versatility for us. I think he is becoming very important and is a key to allowing us to implement different games plans/structures. He can:
1. Play mainly Ruck and forward, playing 60-70% Ruck, 20% bench, 10-20% forward.
2. Play mainly as a Ruck but be the extra tall in defence like against Port - this allows us to go in confidently with one less tall backman and more of a running defence.
3. Play like last night, play as the sole ruckman allowing us to play with one less tall (no forward ruck option).

This is brillant going forward and allows us to set up differntly against different opposition.

Has exceeded expectations.

Premierships are built on bargains like grigg houli and eevan.

Well done Blair

It's another great trading move. It's a joy to see that the club seems to be finally making the right decisions when trading and drafting.

I must admit I was sceptical about big eevan mainly cause he wasnt getting a game at crows, but his aggression and wat he's done so far has been huge for our club. I'm a big fan now. Crows loss our gain for sure! Luv the mullet man

l will be looking forward to the day we play the crows to see how Ivan goes against Jacobs.I wonder if Ivan will be looking forward to it as well

I think it goes to show just how far Craig had lost his players. Eeevan plays it so passionately that he must have been in some lowland funk under Craig for a long time - along with a lot of other players that have come good this year. Maybe Craigy just made it all too complicated.

Another thing - I reckon this guy is a genuine A grade ruck. It's just that he plays it old school (like his hair cut) and runs like Crackers Keenan. I'm sick of hearing how he's mutton not lamb just because of his record at the Crows. Who cares if they didn't see the quality? He's easily in the top 5 rucks going around. And I wouldn't swap him for any of them.

I think some people underestimate the power of a truly great Mullet.

A mullet for the ages. Add that to the mad stare and we have struck gold.

Craigy should have stuck to fitness. It was his dumb work that cost Adelaide a flag in 05 and 06. They were the best team but come finals time their were hammy's being pulled in great numbers.

Maric would be pretty close to the best performed ruckman in the entire competition. Definite chance for AA selection if he keeps this form going (and the others keep falling over).

Mate, the mullet is AA already 8-

No.1 Ruckman in the AA side at the moment on form.

Probably one the most important pick-up's in recent times for the Tige's.Going magnificently! :clap

Seriously who would be a better performed ruckman than big ivan this year?

I love the people's mullet, but if you look at the way Nic Nat allows the WCE to control the center square then I would rank him higher. Jamar arguably beat Ivan too.

Still, it's fantastic we can even have this debate.
